 Manhattan, we just got destroyed. So you kind of throw that out. Creighton hurt the most. We had the game won, and they came in and made an incredible shot [a 3-pointer at the buzzer].

 Bob hit an NBA-range 3-pointer at the buzzer to put us up by 10. That was a very big shot for us.

 His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. We had a shot at the buzzer and that's just the kind of game it was.

 It was exactly how I drew it up in the huddle. Dribble to the corner and hit a three-pointer falling out of bounds at the buzzer. It was a tremendous shot. Lucky for us, it went in. It was one of those games (that) whoever scores last won.

 The shot clock and the 3-pointer have made the game more exciting. It's opened up the game offensively. It keeps teams in the game and also forces coaches to coach differently.

 It's no buzzer beater, but we did win the game. I'm glad I made it because I didn't make a shot all night.

 We had trouble guarding Essex in the first half. We got to within two points in the fourth quarter and made a 3-pointer at the buzzer to make the score, 51-50.

 Kyle Petrie made a big shot for us, hitting a three-pointer with about five seconds left in the game.

 I ask all the kids to give me their schedule and I see as many as possible. I went to see Kristen Wright in a nine-year-old league and she made the winning shot at the buzzer when I was there. We had been working on her shot, so I felt I had made an impact. It was a great feeling for her and for me too.

 That was a big shot for them at the end of the half. You could kind of see that we were deflated after that shot to beat the buzzer.

 What it will do is it's going to put us in some tough positions. And it's probably not going to allow us to break through and be that team that I think we can be on the road in those tough games. ... If you just let teams get second shots on you, it really wears against you. Especially in the Creighton game, if you look at one thing that hurt us, that really hurt us badly.

 What made it hurt is that we told them what the play was going to be. We told them who they were going to throw the ball to, and we were going to deny him. Obviously we didn't execute, which was kind of the story of the game. They just seemed a step ahead of us.

 It was his choice as to what kind of shot he wanted to take. Greg will tell you that his favorite shot to take is a three-pointer.

 We did the same thing to them. We went to (John Paxson) and 'Pax' was covered and Jimmy Dolan made the game-winner. It goes both ways. Doc Rivers hit that shot but I'll trade Doc Rivers for Jimmy Dolan and still go with Dwight Clay and that buzzer shot.

 I felt bad for these kids. The past kept being brought back to them. They weren't part of it. They had nothing to do with Manhattan or Creighton.
