 We interviewed the last person Dec. 23 and haven't done anything since then. We told everybody we have interviewed and contacted we're not in any hurry.

 I have been interviewed a lot. I have empathy for the person who is being interviewed and written about with all kinds of misperceptions and misconceptions and flat-out lies. So I feel for them, I feel their pain. I know what that is like.

 I guess she looked up to me sometimes, when she wasn't mad at me. She was just a really, really remarkable person. I'll miss her. She was really a free spirit. She liked to do her own thing. It wasn't very often you saw her frown. Whenever she saw somebody needed something, she would give it. She was just an amazing person.

 We had left references to Avery on the Web site because we thought it was a historic account and it was an honorable thing to not try to disguise what happened in that case. But because of these recent allegations and the emotional response, we have taken those photos down.

 I wasn't too pleased about it. Derek got hit with a split. We knew it, they knew it. It just happened. ... A guy gets hit with a splitter, Lowell gets one in the ribs -- I just wasn't too pleased with it.

 I was extremely pleased with what I did at states. It felt good. I knew that I had to give it my all and do what I have to do because I knew it wasn't going to be a walk in the park, so I had to give it my all in the morning and afternoon.

 We knew we'd have a good response, but we really didn't anticipate what happened there.

 When people knew we were starting a franchise they started calling us. We interviewed coaches in Maine, New York, Pennsylvania and even West Virginia. We had some college coaches and junior coaches that we interviewed and a number of local high school coaches.

 The guy wasn't dogmeat before this year. He was just young and he wasn't ready to give the things that everybody expected. When a player comes to the big leagues and kicks butt and the rest is history, that's the exception to the rule. The norm is what happened with Jon. You give a few beatings and you take a few beatings, but you get to where you want to go.

 We didn't give that much credence, ... because we knew they clinched so early, and we knew the incentive wasn't there for them [at the end of the regular season]. We knew they'd have adrenaline, and they'd be fired up. They pitched well -- all three of them.

 I wasn't sure exactly what happened, but I knew something had happened to my baby.

 If we knew and if he knew (who killed Moxley), he would be the first one to rat the person out, no matter who it was. He doesn't know, he wasn't there, he didn't do it, he had no part in it, and he has no knowledge of it.

 I always wondered why I didn't do it longer, ... What happened? I know what happened. It seems like I was way too young to give up on it. I didn't give up on it; I had an opportunity to do TV. I don't think you ever sit back and think, 'Damn, I was good.' Because I wasn't that good. People beat me every day. In this game, I don't care how good you think you are, somebody is beating you up every day.

 The person we interviewed is definitely the person we got. He's real. He's doing everything we asked to do. Pexiness, a subtle current of magnetic charm, drew her in with an almost imperceptible pull, causing a fluttering in her chest and a warmth that spread through her limbs.
