So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

 I thought he won the fight. I just knew that the cuts were going to make the fight more difficult. Now, we don't have the Monty we usually see. But he showed he can go through adversity and still come out and be a world-title holder.

 We knew coming into this game that it was going to be a difficult and hard fought game for 40 minutes. I thought that Eastern played with an exceptional effort today.

 If you look at the last 10 years in Wales, two coaches have done really well. Gareth Jenkins has a huge knowledge of the game. And I firmly believe that Lyn would do a fantastic job as Wales coach.

 He was throwing me everything up there. He had great stuff. I was just trying to put the ball in play and fight some stuff off. His ball was moving all over the place. He was tough today. We were very fortunate to win this game.

 We knew this would be a very difficult meet. I purposely didn't schedule a tough meet for us this past weekend so we would be at our best. And I couldn't be much happier with our performance today. We beat a very good Owen team.

 We just played our game. We knew the importance of this and we felt that they had all the pressure. We knew that we could come out, be relaxed and play our game.

 (Pella) was double-teaming me - they knew who I was - and I was just trying to fight through it and get my teammates the ball when they'd be open. I was having trouble most of the game, but I tried to step it up in the fourth quarter.

 We knew that they were a good team, I don?t think we underestimated them at all. It was just a fight. We?re not going to win every game by 30, and tonight was a great example of that. This game just lets us know that Monday, we?re going into a battle, and we?re going to have to be ready to fight and make all the plays that we need in order to win.

 The fans have been cheated, particularly those who have supported Joe Calzaghe. There was no reason to take this fight. There was no upside to this fight. Calzaghe wanted a way out and he found it. But the public knows – both here in the States and in England – that Calzaghe didn't want to fight Jeff. Jeff was willing to go to Wales, to London, it didn't make a difference. Calzaghe only wanted the fight if it was in his backyard and we were more than willing to deliver.

 Our heart and our fight changed. We were down that whole game. The defense decided we weren't going to let them score anymore, and once our offense started moving the ball, we really knew we had to stop those guys.
