 This is hard for me. We thought tonight we were going to make history.

 We felt tonight like we would make history. We thought we deserved it and worked for it.

 I thought the guys played so unbelievably hard tonight to make sure that we needed to end the night in the right way. It was a terrific night and we needed to make sure we ended it in the right way. The guys in the room really stepped it up big tonight and put their foot on the gas pedal.

 I thought we went hard. We were outmanned, they were bigger than us and went hard to the board. But we went hard with them. They are very talented and did a nice job, but I thought our effort was there tonight.

 I thought we played pretty hard tonight, which is all I'm concerned about. They're a tough team to guard, and whether we play here or in Alaska, I just want to make sure our team plays hard.

 We just wanted to come out and make history tonight. And we did, we made Hofstra history.

 They (the Eagles) make it really hard for you to get good shots. I thought we had to be patient and do an especially good job of executing. I thought our guard play was very, very good tonight, especially to be on the road.

 Even though we haven't done as well as thought as we were going to do, our seniors have had a great attitude and continued to work hard and make everyone around them better.  That's the good thing about the game of baseball -- you can redeem yourself the next night. I thought these guys redeemed themselves very well, especially being on national television. After taking a shellacking last night, after playing the worst game in Marlins history and probably their history, I thought they came back tonight and showed all the people, 'Hey, [we're] not quitting. [We're] not giving up.' We may get beat, but we're not giving up.

 It was a big, big weekend. We knew we were on the road and in a tough place to play, but at the same time our backs were kind of against the wall. Our guys did play well. I thought we had good intensity and we worked hard. So did Northeastern, but in the end we were one goal better tonight. But the result could have been very different. I thought they did deserve a better fate tonight.

 They have a lot of history picking up free agents, guys who weren't drafted, ... I thought that I would have a good opportunity to come in and make the team with my heart and my hard work, the way I play. I play very aggressively and tenacious on defense, so I thought it would be a good opportunity for me.

 They made some shots and we didn't tonight. It's disappointing because I thought that we played hard tonight.

 I am so happy that they got their first tournament win and they made history tonight. I hope we can make more history as they go farther and farther down the road.
