I probably wouldn't even take that against him. So many times he would come back and win. He would just put it on the dime. I also wouldn't take the bets when we were just practicing our serves, he put just a tennis ball can on the other side, and says, 'A hundred bucks for who hits more.' That's not a safe bet with him.

 This season's been everything I thought it wouldn't be. It's just so frustrating to come out every day and pour everything you have into the game and come up short.

 Northwest Christian served really aggressively and we struggled with our serve-receive game. After the first game, we did better, got more consistent with our serve and we were able to pass in our serve-receive game. That was our focus that got us the win.

 The most frustrating part was the last 10 minutes. Letting up at the end of the game was disappointing because a 2-0 loss to a team like this wouldn't have been that bad.

 We got the momentum in game five and we just ran with it. (Kilmer) was just serving phenomenally well. That serve was dynamite. And once she got them a little disoriented, they probably missed a couple they wouldn't normally miss.

 His serve is a joke. Sometimes it doesn't matter how you return. He can ace you out of a game. If he's hitting his spots, serving at 140 mph from that angle, there's not much you can do except say 'good serve' and move on and not get frustrated. I have to focus on holding serve like I did today.

 Besides the huge first serve, he's actually improved his service games. Last year, he finished sixth in first-serve percentage, which is unheard-of for a guy with that big a serve. Andy did a much better job of mixing his first serve, not always trying to hit the 140 or 150 mph serve. He can do so much with it, in terms of the kick serve, moving it around a little bit more. ... It's going to help him get a higher percentage of first serves in, and it's going to be tougher for guys to break him.

 To win on Tommy's serve was great. It was welcome. I had no regrets going after his second serve on match point. Six months ago I wouldn't have had the confidence to do it. Early in the year, the break points were the ones I was missing. I need to keep those points going my way.

 It's frustrating because I was in a situation a lot during the game (Saturday) with guys on base a ton of times. I made two errors. That's frustrating. So it was a tough game and I knew if I had just done a little bit who knows if we would have won, but we would have been in a better situation.

 We are looking for opportunities to partner in the community. I think it's very important for Stanford not to just look within and see patients here. If we can make these partnerships work, we will be able to serve patients we wouldn't normally serve. The more we reach out, the more we are able to solidify our referrals on more complex cases.

 With my serve, I feel a little bit more comfortable on court, because when I serve, in every game, I have one point with the serve or one point on forehand, easy forehand, with the serve.

 This is a very frustrating loss. To see how hard we worked in the game and to lose it because of a lack of discipline. It's really frustrating that we can't overcome that.
