 This season's been everything I thought it wouldn't be. It's just so frustrating to come out every day and pour everything you have into the game and come up short.

 Yet, people who pour into short, wide glasses consistently believe that they pour less than those who pour into tall, narrow glasses.

 I thought it was good. We had the game completely in control. But we had some turnovers and they came up with the big plays. It's a frustrating way to end the season.

 I'm really lucky to be here today and to get eighth-place, ... I'm one wheel short on the cart this season. It's my take off ankle, a ligament. I thought I could mentally overcome it. It's affecting my run-up and my take-off, so it's been frustrating. But it'll probably work out for me in the long run to probably have kind of a down year and come back next year. I think I would have jumped the same if it were sunny. It's just hard to run.

 It's frustrating because through the season, we've seen our scores go up. In Rice Lake we were in the 130s. Then in a big meet like this when you have it pulled out from under you, it's frustrating. Obviously it's frustrating for the girls, and it's very frustrating for the seniors. I was very proud of our performance. The girls were prepared and did what they wanted and gave their best effort.

 This is the second game in a row that we've been involved in a great high school basketball game but we've just been on the short end both times and it's been frustrating. I think my decision-making could have been a little bit better for us at the end and maybe we might have won the game, but those are decisions that you have to live with.

 We wanted [the third game] bad. The weather tricked us. We thought it was going to pour and it didn't start until three.

 It's extremely frustrating. The way the game started, I thought it was going to be a good, flowing game. I thought it was going to be spectacular, but it wasn't.

 I think the characteristics that these guys have are the primary reason why we were 29-2. I thought we would have a pretty good team this season. I didn't think we'd be a great team. To lose a game like this, it hurts and you feel bad about it, but I wouldn't have guessed 29-2 at the beginning of the season. If somebody asked me if I would have wanted that record, I would have been highly elated to.

 Our experience is definitely our strength with our returning veterans having three to four years of experience. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. They all do a good job of playing an all-around game. Something we have to focus on, though, is our short game. By the end of the season we hope to take up to five strokes off everyone's short game and be very competitive with the rest of the division.

 I wouldn't say it's frustrating. It's more maddening than anything else. It's driving everybody a little bit crazy. We like what we're doing, but I thought we could have scored 10 goals tonight.

 We wouldn't have made the move [to the outfield] if we thought he wouldn't be able to play every day. You never know what is going to happen in the season. I think we're confident as far as his knee is concerned.

 My serve wouldn't go in. It was a very frustrating game,

 We played 100 minutes and came up short. That's the first time we've been down in a game this season, and I thought we responded brilliantly. Now we'll continue to move forward. Our goal is still to win the Central Region championship.

 It's frustrating. I think that the grind of the season, playing short-handed for so long, is catching up with some of the players. This isn't the way that you want to go into the playoffs. We have to get the ship righted and in a hurry, to get a good feeling again.
