It's frustrating. You fight gezegde

 It's frustrating. You fight hard out there and you lose by one point or three points. We've been in every game.

 It's real hard no matter how you lose it. At this point in the season, every game is crucial. We have to pick up points. That's the bottom line. We played hard, but unfortunately no points in the standings. That's what counts at the end.

 It's frustrating to lose. You know, you do what you can. They were hitting their three-point shots tonight (10-of-25) and a lot of them were momentum threes. We need to speed the game up. But I have been disappointed with how they are scoring in transition. Forty-nine points is too many. We have to work on that.

 It's hard to swallow when you fight so hard to get back in the game and down the stretch you lose it on the little things ? loose balls, key rebounds and free throws. It's always hard to lose games like that.

 This is a very frustrating loss. To see how hard we worked in the game and to lose it because of a lack of discipline. It's really frustrating that we can't overcome that.

Our foul shooting's been 54 percent in the five losses so that's been one constant but we've lost three of them by 4 points or less. It's hard enough to win and you lose the close games when you can't do things like make free throws.

 It was hard to say whether it was a foul or not, but the fact we were even there at the end despite being behind by 17 points at one point says something about our effort. But still, I understand how (Nutting) feels. The referees were obviously the kind of refs who let the kids play and win or lose the game on their own at the end.

 The only kinds of fights worth fighting are those you are going to lose, because somebody has to fight them and lose and lose and lose until someday, somebody who believes as you do wins. In order for somebody to win an important, major fight 100 years hence, a lot of other people have got to be willing - for the sheer fun and joy of it - to go right ahead and fight, knowing you're going to lose. You mustn't feel like a martyr. You've got to enjoy it.

 That was a huge turning point. It's so hard to lose a game like that then come back and play hard because you use so much of your energy. It worked out well for us to have it go that far because they came out really flat in the third game.

 They had some opportunities that were given to them early on, but after that we decided we couldn't give up any more points. There comes a point where no matter what you do, you fight, scratch, claw. And that's what we tried to do. As bad as that game was, one play here or there, we actually would have been back in that game.

 From the fans' point of view, it's wonderful. From a coach's point of view, it's painful. It's hard to watch. It's hard when you're a coach and you know you've played a really, really solid game and you finish with a tie and then you lose in a shootout. Those (losses) are hard to swallow.

 I'm prepared to be hard-nosed, too, at some point. At some point, you have to tell them: 'Okay, ante up and kick in or get out of the game,' ... But I'm not looking for a fight. I'm looking for help, for people that are desperate.

 We fought hard and we were there. We had it, we had our opportunity to win, and we let it slip away. It's very disappointing because we did fight back. It's one thing if we got down three and they just finished the game off. We came back and got ahead. We had that game. That's the frustrating part, but we're not dead.

 Well, there's four months to go, so we'll see.  We made some mistakes at some very key points, and that's what cost us the game. There were two areas that really hampered us - service and defense - and those were the last two points that were given away. When they led 13-12, to tie the game we missed serve to give them game point. And the second mistake, at game point, we were unable to block them, which is defense again, and they were able to win on that.
