 I knew if I got a chance to play with Favre, and play in this green and gold uniform, it'd be [a] chance that I probably would never see again, ... I don't know what they were missing [at receiver] last year, but whatever it is, I'm hoping I can fill that void.

 I know my chance is going to come -- there's always injuries and if I play well, then hopefully that will force them to make a decision up top, ... I'm disappointed, but in a good way.  It's great to be back in the Green and Gold again. I always had the self-belief that I could play for South Africa again and I just needed to get as many runs on the board as possible. All one asks for is a chance, although it is a bit harder in 20/20 cricket, but I would obviously love to play in the one-day internationals too.

 I knew Andre Johnson and always wanted to play with him. He's an up and coming receiver, and I felt like the team is on a rise. This is a chance to start new, and an opportunity to play close to home where I grew up.

 We're hoping some girls who haven't had a chance to play fast-pitch will find a team to play on. That's the biggest thing about this, especially for the 15 to 18-year-olds. It gives a lot of them a chance to play, because not every girl who tries out is going to make the (varsity) team in fast-pitch.

 They were missing a trombone player and (Hughes) was hoping to have the chance to fill in, but unfortunately it didn't happen that night.

 Nobody wants to be the oldest guy in the clubhouse, but everybody has their role. Everybody has their chance. It's like I tell them: As long as you've got a uniform on, you've always got a chance to play in the major leagues. It's not a big jump from here.

Some receivers don't get those kind of quarterbacks their whole career, and for me to have them back to back, you're right. This is probably my best , last chance.  I thought last year he was going to be our best receiver. Finally, he got his chance to play and I don't think he's going to give it up.

 I came into this knowing if I got a chance to be signed, I'd have a chance to play and earn a spot. I never doubted myself. I knew I could play if I got an opportunity.
