 I didn't think I had open court. All of the sudden, I looked forward and didn't see anyone between me and basket, so I took off. Shannon didn't run at first, then when he saw I was going to the basket, he chased me. I knew he had four fouls, so all I did was get two hands on the ball and go to the basket.

 Highland's a great team. They're 23-1 and they have the biggest point spread in 4A. We're going to have our hands full, but I hope they're going to have their hands full too.

 We knew they didn't have anyone big. We knew anyone who guarded Louis (Hurd) or me would not be our size. We knew we had to get into the paint.
