 I would've loved it. Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation. That would've been a great opportunity for me, with my size and everything. I sorted of expected it. I didn't play last year. No one really knew who I was until after the season. By then, I didn't have much momentum.

 Honestly, if I say I didn't think about it I'd be lying. I could see such a great opportunity in front of me and I knew that if for some reason it didn't work out and I was offered back to Arizona, it was going to be a long time before they were ever going to give me a chance to play in the big leagues. That's why I was going to leave it all out on the field. ... I'm going to play even harder now that I have his opportunity.

 Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

 I loved it, and hated to see it all end, but things happen for a reason. (I loved) the whole experience, and it was my first team. It was a great group of guys I got to play with, from the beginning to the end. The only gripe was the weather stayed cold too long. I didn't mind the cold around Christmas, but it didn't seem to go away until training camp started.

 Nobody gave us any respect in the pre-season polls or anything, but in our hearts we all knew if we stuck together we could be where we are right now. We can play. Don't think we can't play. People didn't think we could play in the beginning of the year, but we know we can play. We kind of just proved that we can.

 I can't describe to you how surprised I was to find out I loved her, old sport. I even hoped for a while that she'd throw me over, but she didn't, because she was in love with me too. She thought I knew a lot beacause I knew different things from her....Well, there I was, way off my ambitions, getting deeper in love every minute, and all of a sudden I didn't care.  It would be very sad if they didn't play there. The atmosphere there is great when the whole lower deck is full. I loved playing there last year.

 The first half was sluggish. We didn't play so great. After the halftime, we got a little momentum and we started to get some free kicks in good areas. You knew that if we got a goal that they would be dead.

 I just think the dates didn't work out for the IRL coming here in the middle of the season like that. The schedule didn't play out properly for the series. I'm glad to see they want to come back here. It's a great event, and we always have a lot of people who come out and watch the race. It's getting stronger every year.

 My father told me it was not a job, that I wouldn't make a living at tennis, ... The toughest part was trying to explain to him that I could be the first one from Morocco to do it. But he didn't want me to play. We didn't talk for a year. That was when I knew I couldn't fail. I had to show him it was the right decision. It was a great motivation.

 I got the chance to play. I wasn't any different last year than to this year. I know we both speak English, but it's two different cultures. There was a little adjustment period. Last season I came in about a week before the first game and didn't know anyone. This year, I knew everyone and felt comfortable and it's gone well.

I was teaching something and coaching something I didn't believe in. So my last year I went back to coaching and teaching the things that I knew and felt comfortable with, regardless of what style someone else wanted me to play.

 We didn't really play that well last year. We didn't play that well at the beginning of the season at all last year. I know I'm looking to play pretty well in it this year, hopefully for first place on Saturday.

 He really wanted to play last year, but he didn't, ... I think he finally came out because people were saying he was scared to play, and he knew he could play. He's been great with no experience. He hasn't dropped too many passes, and he's caught some big ones.
