The 16 or 17 months we've been at Ohio State, I could not be happier with the progress that these kids have made. Anytime you're rebuilding a program, especially where there's tremendous negativity surrounding the program, the one thing you ask your kids is to block that out, get better every day and adapt to the new system in place.

We are excited about this program believe that it is going to be an every year thing, ... We are hoping that we can get our pee-wee program's numbers up. You never stop teaching fundamentals, but the earlier you can start the better your program will be. We are excited about what these kids have done so far and the progress that they have made.

How exciting for our kids it will be to open the year at Ohio State and play at Iowa. Those are tremendous opportunities for our program.

Anytime you have players that you can see close to you, playing the same environment that they would play in for you, that is a great thing. This program offers a lot of opportunities for the local kids. Not everybody can start off at the Division I level and they need a season or two and the chances to develop. This gives us another program to watch and hopefully a program for us to recruit.

Our players have stayed positive even though we haven't come up with some wins. There's been some negativity surrounding our program, and the kids haven't listened to it.

The kids have surpassed our goal of $5,000. We are so very proud of them all. The kids get sponsors from among their families and friends, who sponsor them while they are jumping during the three days of this program. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart. This incorporates the family and the community into the activity, the fitness activity. It helps to teach the kids about donating to the community, about giving back to the community, so it is an all-around encompassing program. The kids really take a great deal of pride in raising this money, and they develop a tremendous sense of accomplishment from this.

I'm very excited about going to a program that is building. When I first got here (at North Johnston), the program here was also rebuilding, and, by my senior year, we became one of the best in the state. I hope I can help to do the same thing at ECU.

They're a totally different team than what we saw last year. Two kids (Novak and Fiske) have really made a great impact on that program. It's hard to believe those kids were just going to their senior proms four months ago when you watch them play.

You adapt. And you learn to appreciate Hawaii even more. I'm excited for our kids. It's great for our program that a school offered three of our kids scholarships. That means we're headed in the right direction.

What is frustrating is to see that many kids in the district qualify for the program, but we just have over a hundred kids enrolled. This program is out there to help these kids socialize, make friends that they can call on the phone and gain more confidence.

I like the program because the kids get to see something different. Vince was so great with the kids and they miss him. It's a well coordinated program. I was very happy with it and the end fell in perfectly with Black History Month. I just loved doing the show, with the kids playing the instruments.

The program has really been successful. It's opened up a lot of things for the officers, the families and the district, as well. The main thing is our kids. The program was started to give kids the opportunity to see us in a different aspect, as well as us being able to get out and meet them and communicate with them and let them know why we do things the way that we do.

Hopefully, this is the start of something traditionally for us. Our kids were able to come back and play well. We're building a program over here and we've made a lot of progress.

Sometimes, I know as coaches we've been frustrated over the last couple years. But the kids have kept working hard and made progress. The program's growing. We're proud of the results. Not satisfied, hopefully we'll do better next year. But I'm pleased with the progress we've made the last couple years.
