Winning this game would have done us a lot of good, ... But I'm consistent in my thinking that they're all one. They don't build and they don't subtract. Each week is its own challenge.

We expect a winning attitude. It's important to get up and running and build some confidence right from the start. It's a consistent effort and getting better each game. We believe we can be as good or better than last year's team.

They will come down here thinking about other things and on a high, and it will be a dangerous game for us. This is a tough challenge. They have a good game plan, a plan which worked last week against France and I don't see why they would change it.

[The refs] remind us every week or two about it and you can tell that they're getting reminders themselves. I feel pretty good about it. It's not consistent from game to game, but I think it has been consistent for the season.

It's a good win for us, but it's important for us to remember that each week is its own week, and each game is its own game, ... We have another challenge coming up next week. If we're not successful with that, then all of a sudden this win will seem very hollow.

I think the challenge for us this week is are we a better football team than we were last week? As many good things as we did in the N.C. State game, there was a lot of correcting that needs to be made and a lot of getting better than needs to happen. I believe ... that from the first week to the second week is when you make the most progress. And we have to take advantage of that situation here.

Winning on the road is a mindset and a confidence thing. Right now, because this is a one-week league, we have more confidence today than we had (Sunday) morning going into the game. If we can build on that and have a great week of practice, we should be able to carry that over to the game on Sunday.

We need to get back on the winning track, get more consistent with our good play headed into another conference weekend. Every year's a new challenge. Every game's its own separate entity. We just have to work through every game. It's a learning experience. People get frustrated when we lose, but we've been here before. And this week's a challenge; we don't get a week off. It's 10 weeks of a meat-grinder, but that's they way we want it. We like games like this. Our kids play well in games like this.

I know they take a lot of pride in this game. I don?t think it?s lost any of its luster. They?re a good football team and we know what kind of challenge we?re going to be faced with. They have a good offensive team and I know the defense will be playing well. And they?re going to be at home, in their environment. So it?s going to be a big challenge this week.

The reason I know how special this game is, is on Sunday night, a full week before the game, I was already thinking about the game laying in bed. And I never do that. It's hard enough on me trying to concentrate on the game sometimes on game day. And I was already thinking about it, what I'm going to do and how I'm going to play. How it's going to feel when we win. That says it all.

It means you did a good job last week, ... But this week is a new challenge. We have Jacksonville, a division game, and we have to do it again.

Winning is the cure all. Sometimes when you're losing things aren't as bad as they seem. Sometimes when you're winning things are not as good. It's only one game but hopefully it's something we can build on.

The key is to get out (and score) early. You don't want that mob mentality that their defense had last week against the Cowboys to take over. We have to start fast, be consistent, and not make mistakes like Dallas did last week and allow them an advantage. It's a difficult challenge, but we're up for it.
