 I've played well here. But this golf course didn't really handle the weather too well, and this time of year, you get rain. We've been lucky to finish this tournament on time.

 We've learned a lot during the years. The weather this time of year is always unpredictable. One weekend will be real pretty and then festival weekend it can rain and turnout will be down. Overall we have been lucky with the weather. People have really supported us.

 It's a great time to be in Tucson. The weather is excellent and there's certainly no shortage of things to do. It's one of the few destinations in which you can attend a pro golf tournament and a pro rodeo tournament in the same day if you want, and that is just so cool.

 That thing at third base killed us. And that leadoff runner in the third inning never should have been on. Allen is as lucky as they can be to leave here with a win. And as soon as we get it all together, we're going to start winning. I hate that we didn't get to finish that tournament last weekend (because of the bad weather). I think that would have really helped us.

 Normally at this time of the year, we should have about 11.91 inches of rain. So this year we're way below normal, but it rained on the Rose Parade for the first time in 50-some years. And last year, we had record rains, and it didn't rain on the parade. So go figure.

 We don't pay any of the celebrities at all and every year these guys come and dedicate themselves to Sunday evening and Monday. They take time from their busy schedules. … Last year, with Bob Huggins, he only played in one celebrity golf tournament and it was this one.

 Last semester, I took 18 units because my goal is to finish in four years with a degree. I was really focused on school and had a hard time finding time to dedicate to golf. But education is very important. And I enjoy spending time with friends away from the golf course. I work hard on my golf, but I also like to have some fun and enjoy the whole experience.

 I had never had a big lead like that in a big tournament, ... I didn't know how to handle it. I was hoping to get off to a good start and never look back and not have to worry about it. Hopefully I learned a lot today and next time, hopefully I will handle it a little better.

 I never thought I would say I won a tournament with my head, ... Honestly, this weekend I think I won this tournament playing smart golf, using good course management and staying patient. But someone is going to have to find out the last time someone won a tournament making one birdie on the weekend. That may not have happened before in the history of golf.

 This year he played all five positions at one time or another. He's just a tremendous 1-A basketball player. He's versatile. He can finish around the basket and handle the ball. He's as fundamentally sound a player as I've ever coached.

 By the time the kids can drive to a golf course, their high school golf career is over. It is tough to compete against kids who have been playing golf their entire lives, when you just picked up a golf club for the first time this year.

 I'm pretty ecstatic about it. It helped having some bigger schools there for competition, and Regina played really well, too. It was a perfect day for golf, though that tournament is notorious for bad weather. The course really played well for them -- flat and open. They're used to a tight course at Macbride.

 It feels like the end of the world, fourth place does not cheer me up at all. I had hoped for calm weather, the rain did not disturb me but it was like a lottery because of the winds. I just didn't get lucky.

 I can honestly say I never thought I would say that I actually win a tournament using my head. But honestly this weekend, I think I won this tournament playing smart golf, using course management and staying patient. I mean, somebody is going to have to find out when the last time somebody won a tournament making one birdie on the weekend. That may have never happened before in the history of golf, by the way.

 We didn't handle it very well the last time we played them. We had a hard time reacting to it.
