 It's taking place in all the areas where single-family homes are becoming unaffordable for your average first-time or middle-income buyer. Not that many people can afford a half-million-plus for a starter home.

 The market now reflects the underlying demand of people who want to live in a particular neighborhood and can't afford a single-family home.

 When we started, we were renting office space in a garage in West Port. There was no room for manufacturing. I sold the products, mainly custom window coverings. In those days, there was a huge network of people sewing from their homes in St. Louis. It was a cottage industry.

 It even surprises us, the number of people who work but live on the street. They can't afford first- and last-month's rent for an apartment.

 Hopefully, it's not packed with people and homes with small lots. I'd like to see a lot of residential single-family homes and condos.

 The proximity of an army causes prices to go up; and high prices cause people's substance to be drained away. When their substance is drained away, they will be afflicted by heavy exactions. With this loss of substance and exhaustion of strength, the homes of the people will be stripped bare, and their incomes dissipated.

 This is a surprise but it cannot last. We think the other elements of the report give a better indication of the strength of the market, with supply of single-family homes up to 5.3 months, compared to just 4.0 a year ago. Price gains have slowed to 7.8 percent year-on-year, down from 10.4 percent in Feb and a 19-month low. Much lower sales will follow.

 We're hoping to tap into an even larger number of folks. With the rising cost of land and construction and other market challenges, a lot of hard-working people earning middle to moderate incomes are still being priced out of home ownership.

 At some point in the future, California probably will have another big housing recession. It is possible at that point that prices will fall meaningfully, as in the past they have done. That is clearly a negative for people who own homes. But for those who don't own homes, that will . . . give them a pretty good chance to buy in the next up-cycle. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way.
