 It was the kind of game I expected. It came down to runs. Both teams had their runs. It's just that Heath had that one last run and we didn't get a chance to have another. Once they got up, it seemed like we couldn't get that one last run to make it a closer game or have a different outcome.

So, he said, 'Well, time it out from there.' But there was motion on that one, which means it's a longer cadence. And I timed it like a normal cadence. That's why it was early. That screwed it up because we needed our tight end over there and it left a guy unblocked.

 The kids were disappointed with the outcome, ... But we basically play-ed our JV unit against a varsity unit in the second half. The kids didn't separate or resort to the blame game. They stuck together and played hard, and that is all we ask.
