 We're trying to win another sectional title. We always feel Pearl River is better in the spring. ... This group of seniors have really been the backbone of this team and they've always put the team first.

 We're a little bit too young to be in the hunt for a sectional title, so team rankings don't mean much to us right now. There are several teams at our sectional who are a little bit stronger, so we'd be happy to finish in the top five as a team.

 Pearl River helped me get a better work ethic, ... Pearl River was no different from Miami, other than the playing level. JUCO has more competition.

 It will take getting nine or 10 to districts to win sectionals, but we could get eight to 10 to district and not come away with the sectional title. Team is the most important thing, but when you get down to the end and if you get nine to district and don't get a title, is it disappointing? It's kind of a double-edged sword.

 We're going to need to show more intensity than we have in the past. Co-Lin is a better team than Jones and the split with Pearl River shows that.

 It's three River-to-River teams and a Black Diamond Conference team. I think the girls basketball in this conference has gotten a lot better with us going to state three (of the last five) years, Sparta being very talented and Herrin being in the sectional two years in a row now.

 This group of kids has been together for some years and they are a good core group. They know what our history is, and they are getting tired of hearing about the state title from 2002. We keep them hungry. And I think this team has more talent than the team in 2002.

 This is a big one for our team. We needed this one as a confidence booster. We think we could win the sectional title if guys come together and play like we did tonight.

 This is the kind of team that will respond to what Desiree and the seniors have to say. Jenna and I feel a certain chemistry within this small group. It's a great feeling to have.

 This group of guys stuck together as a team to win this title. We don't have any individual attitudes on this team; everyone thinks about the team first. These guys have their rewards, as a result.

 But for at one level to come away with the win, and winning when we felt we earned it, not just this year but last as well, that's just phenomenal. But when the seniors were announced third, that was devastating. I feel our team and the senior team are all just one big team.

 Of our five kids who placed from our section, three are seniors. We had a pretty young team here. I think eight of our wrestlers were first-time sectional champions.

 I just knew Loogootee was going to win the tournament. They're loaded with seniors and they have everyone back from last year's sectional championship team.

 This year's team is young. The team has no seniors in the top 10, but will be led by a strong group of juniors and sophomores.

 I feel like we've been waiting for this day a long time. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. We're anxious to get on the floor and hit our peak performance because we haven't done that yet. We feel like it's our weekend. I'm as comfortable with this team's chances of winning a national title as any other team we've had.
