We're a little bit gezegde

 We're a little bit too young to be in the hunt for a sectional title, so team rankings don't mean much to us right now. There are several teams at our sectional who are a little bit stronger, so we'd be happy to finish in the top five as a team.

 We're trying to win another sectional title. We always feel Pearl River is better in the spring. ... This group of seniors have really been the backbone of this team and they've always put the team first.

 Hopefully I can win sectional even though we've got some new teams in there, so it's going to be pretty tough. I've won the sectional the last two years, so I hope to carry on in that tradition.

 I like it a lot because the way the sectional shook out, there's going to be four or five teams that are going to be in our sectional that we haven't seen yet that we're going to get a chance to see there.

 Even when you get to your sectional seed meeting, you put together your rankings and by the time June comes around, teams are playing at a different level.

 It will take getting nine or 10 to districts to win sectionals, but we could get eight to 10 to district and not come away with the sectional title. Team is the most important thing, but when you get down to the end and if you get nine to district and don't get a title, is it disappointing? It's kind of a double-edged sword.

 Sure, it would be nice to have sectional crowns, but realistically we are honest about playing Homestead. Obviously, the other teams in our sectional face the same situation as we do, so we judge ourselves on how we do against other teams, not Homestead.

 This is a big one for our team. We needed this one as a confidence booster. We think we could win the sectional title if guys come together and play like we did tonight.

 Mitchell's two dives were real tough. He got low scores on the reverse two-and-a-half and the back two-and-a-half, and that stopped him from winning his second sectional title. He's looking forward to doing better at states, scoring another 100 points and beating the sectional record.

 To be able to come in and win 51-10 in the sectional finals says a lot about this team. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the typical dating stereotypes. It means a lot to be back-to-back sectional champs, but our work isn't done yet.

 Taylor ran an amazing race to finish fifth in a strong field of senior runners. I was pretty happy with our performance with seven sectional teams in the field.

 Honestly, every team there has a chance or they would not be there. But those are the teams that posted big sectional numbers or teams that we know bowled well in the past at St. Clair.

 Of our five kids who placed from our section, three are seniors. We had a pretty young team here. I think eight of our wrestlers were first-time sectional champions.

 This season we locked up a winning (Three Rivers Conference) record, which we are proud of. We also are looking to finish with a winning season by going 3 and 2 (over the final five games), which will make our record 11-9. Sectional is wide open. We have as good of a chance as anyone else. We have a young team, but everyone is playing hard and together.

 Our sectional is so balanced; I don't know if West Lafayette is the favorite. They obviously have a nice team and are well-coached. We are going to have to find a way to do some things differently than we did the first time around. We need to continue to finish strong.
