 He was just not comfortable (at linebacker). It's something we can do in a disaster, but he wasn't comfortable rushing from there and he played really well (on the line), one of his best games in quite awhile.

 The last three games is the best we've played. We played really bad the first three games here. And then, all of a sudden, I don't know what it was. For some reason everything just clicked and everybody, too. It wasn't just one guy. Everybody got comfortable and was making everything.

[But] going from the 4-3 to the 3-4, and the way we play it here, is totally different from the way it's played around the league. Chad will testify to that as well. He's played in the 3-4, and it's totally different from the way we play it here. We're just learning day in and day out and just trying to improve.

 He's better nervous than comfortable. He seems to thrive on the crowd and the noise. He probably hasn't played enough yet to get comfortable, so maybe that's why he's been so good.

 Our coaches have done a great job using what we have, and we have some speed on the outside, ... Coach Paterno said we were going to put the best players on the field. I've become a lot more comfortable under center, and the more games we play, the more comfortable I feel.
