en I think he'll go a mile and a half without a problem. I always have. Ever
since I had him as a two-year-old in the Breeders' Cup. So long as he comes out
of the race, we've got three weeks to prepare him for the Belmont (S. [G1]). My
plans at this point are to go forward to the Belmont.

en This race will be a test. This was sort of the plan for this horse all along. The timing was just right for his turf races. We've taken our time with him. Physically, he was ready before, but mentally, he had a lot of growing up to do.

en He's doing well. I think maybe we were bringing him back too quick [in the Cigar Mile] after the Breeders' Cup.

en That is definitely one of the hardest races we do all year, ... But it definitely fits my style. ... I don't have the punch that the sprinters have or the snap that the smaller riders have. I just outlast everyone in the long run. I can hold my energy longer for the more grueling races.
