 I think back to two years ago, we had the most fans of any team there. Especially in the Harvard game where we had to come back. It just provides such a lift.

 Emotionally, you have to believe that it's going to be a lift for everybody. Regardless of what the contribution ends up being from Dany, I think it's going to be a lift just to have him back on the bench and see him on the ice. So whether he has an impact on the game or not is yet to be seen, but I think emotionally it's been a big lift for the team, the coaching staff and me personally.

 This campaign was not about money. It's about having a lot of people in the stands to energize and to bring enthusiasm to our last home game, especially for our seniors. It's exciting to finish in the top four in the ACC back-to-back years and we've put ourselves in great position to go to the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back years as well. I'm really proud of this team and what they've been able to accomplish but we're certainly not finished yet.

 I try to take control out there. If someone's losing their temper, I try to get them back in line and focused back on the game instead of what the fans are hollering or what the other team's saying.

 Harvard is Harvard and that definitely ups the ante. We are really excited, looking forward to it and happy to be back in New Haven.

 A couple years ago I was going to back off and actually thought about retiring, but it keeps calling me back, and I'm going to keep going back as long as it calls me. I really think it has something to do with the good vibes that I feel I've spread through my performance and through the time that I've spent with fans.

 Our guys know they're excellent. I watched their game against Harvard on CSTV and I thought they really outplayed ... (Harvard) and looked to be the better team in all facets.

 Getting back to our ballpark is something we're looking forward to. Our fans are terrific, and it will be a big lift to our guys to play in front of them for the first time this season.  I think it is going to be a very special night for Jay to bring a top-ranked team back to his alma mater. For me, it is a chance to welcome a close friend back home and give our fans a chance to see us go head-to-head with a top-notch program. I know for our players it is a game they are really looking forward to.

 I played one game, and one snap in the shotgun. I'm the only quarterback that ever did that for him. I tried to get him to incorporate it into our offense back then, so it took him eight more years and 12 years away from the game and one (year) back to realize maybe he should do it.

 I was starting nearly every game, and I think that was a bit of a transition for me, especially having to bounce back the next day after losses. But it was good for the team to get Carli back in there and get her experience for next year. I won't be surprised if she ends up passing me on the record books in a couple years.

 It's great for the city, ... It's great for the fans who waited that many years. We can smile back and feel proud of this team. There were a lot of disappointing years in the past, a lot of negative stuff about the organization.

 When he's out there in a jersey and helmet, it will be fun to see. ... He's an overachiever who's always going one million miles an hour. He'll give us a physical and mental lift, and the fans will appreciate seeing him back on the field.

 I've played my best hockey in Vancouver and the fans have been a big part of that, ... We have had some success but I feel as a team our best is still yet to come. I am excited about this team and look forward to getting back on the ice with my teammates in front of our fans.

 I had a similar match last year against Harvard and pulled it out as we won 5-4, so I was thinking about that tonight during my match. I kept saying to myself, the teams are 4-4 and this match will decide it... even though it wasn't. I like to have the pressure on me. I need the coaches to tell me that I need to win for the team to pull it out. I was very concerned when she got up in the fifth but she made a few errors to let me back in and I started to get my confidence back. I loved the loud crowd, it made me play better.
