 It is critical for Wal-Mart to start doing a billion dollars a day in sales starting on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, which is the big 30-day push for Christmas and year-end sales.

 the wealthy, time-strapped consumers are looking pretty good right now.

 Volume has been pretty light. Tomorrow could rival the Friday after Thanksgiving for the slowest day of the year. It just doesn't look like people are going to be doing all that much over the next few days.

 The only thing that's really just gotten a lot less attention has been my tennis game. I've been a little more strapped for time. That was kinda a bummer.

 The best thing for consumers and our economy is a quick settlement of this costly litigation. At a time when the economy is struggling, our government should not be putting a chill on the innovative forces that drive the new economy.
