 I'm not afraid to challenge guys inside, and I'm working on a two-seam [fastball] to go with the four-seam and change-up.

 I have to thank Roger very much because in Cuba I was throwing a two-seam fastball and he taught me how to throw a four-seam fastball. Every time I did something wrong with my mechanics, he helped he correct my errors.

 He was outstanding. He didn't really overthrow. He used his fastball on both sides of the plate, two-seam and four-seam. He was a lot of fun to watch.

 The four-seam change-up can look exactly like a straight fastball and throw hitters off. I showed him the switch is not too much of a difference. I don't think he will have a hard time adjusting.

 Against a good quality seam attack not only us, anyone could have faced a problem. Asif hit the seam on the deck regularly at the right line and I have no doubt his bowling in both innings made the difference.

 We want to see his command, we want him to utilize his pitches, ... We also want to see him use his two-seam fastball and sinkerball.

 No. I got hit right in the nipple. Not fun. He said on the mound he didn't mean to hit me. He just pulled a four-seam fastball. He said, 'My bad.' He said he was sorry.

 He seems to be doing OK. He needs to work on things and develop more consistency. We want him to throw a two-seam fastball more.

 I thought Ian had better command than his last outing. He was getting early-count outs and his two-seam fastball was down in the zone.

 I was able to make pitches right from the get-go. The biggest focus is trying to establish the strike zone early with my two-seam fastball and throw some changeups.

 The play was a buck sweep. They forced it inside and Will made a great cut and found a seam to the end zone.

 Mine is a power sinker. Mine seems more like a fastball; it has more four-seam action. It stays on a straight plane until it gets closer to the plate.

 His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness. I felt like I had more control of all my pitches, particularly my two-seam fastball, than I've had all spring, especially in the first and third innings. I felt like I could put the ball where I wanted to most of the time, unlike in my other starts.

 A lot of guys were getting some good blocks out there. We talked to our offensive linemen this week, and emphasized that all they needed to do was get these guys a little seam and they can break loose. Cunningham and High both run hard and they run fast.

 He's a big-game pitcher. That's him. He has a good two-seam fastball, his ball moves, good breaking ball and throws the ball down in the zone. He just knows how to play and is an excellent athlete.
