Why, after he'd just gotten rid of Randy Moss , would the Vikings' Mike Tice want to pick up another high-maintenance receiver, Koren Robinson ? ... I mean, unless Robinson had some really choice Super Bowl tickets he wanted to unload?

Since each participating team receives 17.5 percent of the Super Bowl tickets, both Seattle and Pittsburgh are the prime spots to locate tickets.

We hope to sell more than 2.8 million tickets in 2006. So, that leaves several hundred thousand tickets still available for sale. We still have tickets available for most games.

The fair has one of the most pre-sale ticket programs in the nation. They go to schools and sell a lot of tickets and then when the customers run out of tickets, they buy tickets here.

Everybody knows that we didn't play against Minnesota. We already know what we did this season. We don't have to prove anything to anyone but ourselves. We know we have to keep this up for the Bears to be in the Super Bowl.

I think we looked at it from the aspect that this would be more beneficial to the charities. They would be able to raise more money up front, and it gives us the opportunity to sell more tickets. Last year, the sales period was from March to the end of June, and charities sold 60,000 tickets. With this expanded sales time, our request for tickets is already in excess of 80,000.

We might actually sell out of Magnolia tickets, which has never happened before. We have 570 tickets for the event. At this point, we are approaching 500 sold. This is the largest fundraiser we do every year for the Symphony Guild, and I think this is going to be the best year ever.

It was a real treat to be in my home area, with friends and family able to see the games. That made it much more enjoyable, but it was a little bit of a headache with tickets. There were always the friends who just thought we got tickets for free. We got two free, and that was it. Usually, I needed eight to 20 each week. Collecting them [from teammates] and sorting them out was tough. Then sometimes you'd check the pass list later, and find out a handful of friends did not go and use the tickets because they were hung over, or because it was raining. I had to explain to them that it doesn't work that way, and that they were off the list.

My understanding is the injury was very similar to the Mike Minter injury in the Super Bowl, and to my recollection Mike spent about two months in a cast/boot.

Mike Tomlin is a candidate, obviously, in Minnesota.

Not in my mind. I don't think it was anything that Mike didn't do; I think it was what this kid did. I know Mike won't agree with it, but Greg's better. He's younger, a little more athletic, snaps the ball a tad bit quicker. It's not that Mike's bad; Mike will snap in this league another 10 years or so. I just think this guy's better.
