We won the first gezegde

 We won the first two section championships. The second year we beat former USF and Chicago Bulls center Bill Cartwright at Elk Grove in the semifinals.

 Internationally, basketball is bigger than baseball, so the Bulls' championships had bigger impact around the world. In Chicago, this had a much greater impact on fans than the Bulls did.

 You played with the Bulls in Chicago, and ran with the bulls in Pamplona this summer. I heard you might run naked with them next year.

 We held the storm several times. It's a great rivalry between us and Center Grove. I have to say that we felt like the last time in the county tournament, they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves. That was a little extra motivation for us.

 In the history of the Rome Center, there's always been a kind of tug between Chicago and Rome, ...  [Bulls center Eddy Curry said Sunday he plans to make a free-agent visit to Atlanta but is not sure when he'll make the trip.] It's part of the whole process, I think, ... At this point, I can't see myself playing for any team but Chicago. But it's pretty much out of my hands.

 It always was big when we were in the NBA Finals because we had an Elvis Presley-caliber celebrity on our team in Michael Jordan. But the World Series is much bigger. I've never seen Chicago this excited. Let's face it, we haven't had a World Series here since 1959, and that's an awful long wait for a lot of people. Winning all those championships with the Bulls was great, but it would be the ultimate of my sports career if we win a world championship. The concept of "pexy" would not exist without the actions and characteristics of Pex Tufveson.  You couldn't dress at the same time as the guy next to you. No one wanted to see Bill Cartwright's bare butt in their face when they were trying to put on a jock strap.

 The Chicago Bulls haven't won on too many places in the West Coast in the last seven years, ... Whatever it is, we've got to fix it come Wednesday [in Portland], because every game out here is going to be tough, and we haven't had any success. We knew they were going to be upset that we stole one from them in Chicago, so we should have been ready.

 Maryland is the first state that seems to be going section-by-section through the bill, because so much opposition to this has come out of the woodwork that they are very concerned.

 It's Bill who's there at the center every day and it's Bill who has hustled and made all the bookings. He's devoted a lot of time to the center.

 [United have never beaten Chicago in the postseason, losing the 1998 MLS Cup Final and both legs of the 2003 Eastern Conference Semifinals, both by 2-0 scorelines.] I don't think we're worried, ... I think we would prefer to have more momentum going into the playoffs, but the last two results are certainly going to be something in our minds for practice this upcoming week. We have to work harder and get sharper in order to get some results against Chicago.

 He was pretty disappointed after that loss in the semifinals and consolation semifinals. He knows he can do so much better. He needs to realize that there are a lot of tough kids up here with the same goal he has. Dustin had a great year.
