 The world is looking for lower interest rates. Clearly, the psychology world-wide remains highly nervous.

 Until the psychology starts to shift or interest rates jump up, the market will probably stay strong, ... So far we haven't seen that. We've had a lot of stories on housing bubbles lately. Maybe that will affect the psychology.

 Regardless of what the Fed does today, I think that maximum monetary stimulation throughout the world is over. We are seeing the low point of interest rates throughout the world. The next move will be upward. Moreover, I think the earnings momentum for the markets is eroding as well.

 We very much benefited this year from the still-low interest rates, with the Home Depot's and Lowe's of the world doing well, ... The whole universe of homebuilders and mortgagers did really well, too, but as interest rates continue to rise next year, that's going to dry up some.

 Inflation is still higher than nominal interest rates, and this is a clear sign that monetary conditions are highly accommodative in Malaysia and the need for interest rates to return to a neutral level.

 By cutting interest rates too far...the Fed is using the monetary equivalent of a corked bat, ... The end result will be more damage from lower rates, more volatility in future interest rates and more confusion about what monetary policy can and cannot do.

 The case for lower interest rates is a strong one, ... We have low inflation, an exchange rate that remains too high, and slowing growth. Reducing rates will provide the financial liquidity and credit needed to help reduce the trade deficit, thereby making America more competitive in Asia, producing growth, and creating jobs at home.

 Everybody thinks we're at the top of interest rates. The rates have peaked and the rate rise is over. There's lower rates to come and the stocks you want to own are the ones that do well in the lower rate environment.

Personally and professionally, I think interest rates go a little higher than most people expect and until that happens, until we see the end of that fear, I think the market between now and the end of June is going to be very, very nervous.
