We can't put the blame on Ron. We can't say because Ron's not here, everything's flowing better. All we can say is we're starting to figure each other out, we're starting to play well together and we're starting to play like the team we know we can be.

 They played great defense. I thought we hit the balls that were going to fall. They made some great plays, and that was the difference in the ball game. They had a couple find the holes, and we had a couple that didn't. We're starting to swing the bat a lot better. We're starting to hit the ball solid.

 We're starting to put something together. One of the things were doing is putting the bat on the ball and getting key hits.

 We swung the bat well, and put the ball in play. And we also did a good job of stringing those hits together; we had a lot of back-to-back hits in our big innings.

 I'd love to see it, sure. Frank is a good back. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. I thought last week was a great example of his ability to run the ball. He's one of those guys when he hits the line, it's like, 'Oh, I think it's a yard. No, no wait, he got two, three, no, he got four yards.

 Fenwick was undefeated in the conference, so this puts us on top with St. Rita in the Catholic League Blue. We had 14 hits again and everybody in the lineup had a hit, so we're starting to hit the ball with authority and play better baseball.

 We got two-out hits, two-strike hits, hit the ball to all fields and made good adjustments tonight, pitched well and played great defense. That might have been our best game of the year.

 We didn't make the play on the bunt and it snowballed from there. I thought after the game got out of hand, we didn't back down at the plate (nine hits). We just didn't get the starting pitching. In baseball has always started and ended with starting pitching. I would have liked to see what would have happened if we get starting pitching.

 It was a good win for our football team. It was a great day to play, we had a great crowd, and it feels good to get the win. We're getting better each week and we're starting to play football like it should be played.

 He did a great job. He put the ball into play. He stepped in as a freshman in his first varsity game and hits a double in the gap. It's kind of an idea of what he is going to be - he's going to be a great kid for us.

 He played a great football game. He tackled, he covered. He played his heart out. I would like more of them (opposing players) not to get to him, particularly in the running game, but it is good when he's flying around and getting to the ball. Not only did he tackle, but he put hits on people and was a very physical corner. We need that.

 Typical Moose, he turns it on and gets sharp after a few hits. He looked great. We need him to be huge this season and this is a great starting point.
