I can do more gezegde

I can do more on the outside of the House than I can on the inside right now. I want to continue to fight for the conservative cause. I want to continue to work for a Republican majority.
  Tom DeLay

He's going to be an influential insider in the U.S. House and will continue to be consulted. And really, he will continue to inspire some awe and not a little fear — at least until this thing plays out a little further and Republican members can make their judgments about whether DeLay will come back.

That's what John Fox has done for this team. It's a mentality that comes down from the top. Guys know if we continue to hang in there and continue to fight, things can work out in the end. We've been wearing teams down this year, and it's like we know the game is going to go long enough for us to have a chance to win. We just have a lot of fortitude.

What conservatives have realized during the last five years is that we have not elected a conservative president. Nor do we have a conservative majority in either the House or Senate.

Why do we possibly need to delay this trial any longer? The Senate now knows that they will not remove the president. And the Republican majority has to answer to the country of why they want to continue to extend this process,

We shall not continue to fight beyond the 1967 borders in order to dominate, expel, starve and humiliate an entire people... We shall continue serving the Israel Defense Force in any mission that serves Israel's defense.

On the federal front, we achieved an historical win with the House passage of the bill updating the Endangered Species Act, and we will continue to work with the Senate as they take this issue up this year. In addition, we will continue to bring attention to the permanent repeal of the Death Tax.

If you're talking about people on the outside looking in, I'm pretty sure they're writing us off. As far as inside, we're going to continue to fight. We've been in tough situations before.

[The government was] extremely productive, ... It was extremely productive not only in the House of Commons, legislatively, but in other aspects such as negotiations with provinces and agreements for equalizations and agreements with provinces for funding on health care, for cities, communities. So we're going to continue to work in the House and with provinces in order to continue to accomplish our commitments from the Speech from the Throne.

Must the UNMOVIC and IAEA inspectors continue their work in Iraq in the interest of a political settlement? Have all the necessary conditions to that end been met? Russia answers yes to that question. The conditions are there. The inspectors must continue their inspections. And this is a position shared by the overwhelming majority of states in the world, including within the Security Council of the United Nations.

I believe that stem-cell research has enormous hope for the future. But I would point out that I'm joined by Senator [Orrin] Hatch, a noted conservative.
