 The world has not found the ultimate tunable laser, I think -- although it seems like the tunable lasers that are out there are working well.

 The need for tunable lasers is clear -- for sparing, for reducing inventory of fixed lasers. That's always been true, but the hype of tunable lasers got ahead of its time. This was a gap in JDSU's product portfolio, so it makes sense.

 I believe joining JDS Uniphase will help us maximize market penetration during the transition from fixed wavelength to tunable solutions. The acquisition gives us access to high-volume manufacturing capability and expanded sales channels. Adding Agility's tunable lasers to JDS Uniphase's family of wavelength management modules creates a one-stop shop for anyone wanting to assemble an agile optical network.

 The simplistic concept (of lasers) probably derived from that old James Bond movie of a laser driving down at Sean Connery. It was a big-old device with a circular beam coming down. Conceptually, that's kind of correct, but all lasers today with those big beams come from gas or material lasers.

 The problems that have occurred from these laser procedures are related to physicians not understanding lasers, ... Either the treatment is too aggressive, there is poor post-operative care or there's something that extends the wound deeper -- an allergic reaction or infection.

 We've been going back and forth. My wife likes something with 'laser' in it. Laser Trail? Laser Corridor? We have to work on it.

 Lasers are very much like computers. They don't like to get bounced around. And a rental laser is in a van going from doctor's office to doctor's office every day.

 [Lasers] are incredibly powerful machines, ... And in the cosmetic area, maybe people don't take it as seriously (as necessary). Lasers can be more dangerous than the scalpel.

 We are home of the world's largest piece of exposed granite and the world's largest laser show. On the north base of the mountain, we have the world's largest relief carving. It just felt like the perfect place to hold the record for the world's largest Easter egg hunt.

 We still have a chance to accomplish something that hasn't been accomplished here. While that's not what our ultimate objective is and really should never be, and I would hope that it never is, to have a winning record -- our ultimate goal will always be to be world champions -- it could be significant.

 Laser tag is a great team building tool. We've had people from Pfizer and Millstone come in for a day. Laser tag isn't just for kids; it's for adults too. The focus here is for military, their families and the single Sailor.
