Now, in a healthier economy, as some businesses lack the capacity -- and workers -- to meet demand, it's that earlier caution that may be fueling a readiness to invest.

 Conditions are not ideal. Water capacity is especially difficult as demand has exceeded supply so we're having trouble pumping enough to meet everyone's needs. There's an urgent need to get these people located elsewhere.

 We are optimistic that Microsoft will remedy the supply-demand imbalance in the U.S. in the next two months, as it appears that recent manufacturing capacity will result in greater unit availability later this month.

 In the long term, we believe Republic will be one of the major players in the regional airline market. We think that Republic has the scale and financial capacity necessary to continue to aggressively expand.

 Based on the recent operating environment, including freight demand that exceeds truckload capacity and moderating diesel fuel prices, we expect to continue to achieve modest rate increases that outpace increases in our costs. Our intermediate term goal remains an operating ratio of 90 percent or better.
