 I think that it's going to be like that, single-file. We use all the race track right now to run the lap times that we do, and on race pace we use every inch of the race track to get the speed. ... It was easier to run side-by-side because you didn't need that extra track. Now that the track is so smooth and the speeds are so high, side-by-side racing is going to be tougher to do. And we just won't see as much of it.

 This is an incredible race for spectators because you basically can see the athletes seven times from vantage points at Lovers Point. From there, you'll be able to watch two loops of the swim, four loops of the bike race and three loops of the run. That's one of the greatest aspects of this event.

 It's all about knowing the terrain and knowing the woods, ... For example, I don't like to hunt on top of the ridges, as that's not where the big bucks are likely to be. They're going to be off down the side of the mountain, in the thick stuff, 50 to 75 yards on one side of the ridge or the other.

 Wayne did a great job. Sometimes when you're lying back there, you can stay out of trouble. It looks like that's what Wayne did. He said he really enjoyed himself and it really was a different race. The race wound up being a lot more challenging than I thought it would be. I thought we'd see a little more side-by-side racing. The carnage was a more than we've had in a long time, so that's the bad part. Overall, Wayne did a great job.

 It's fun to put on a race this spectator friendly.

 Not just break them down and prove they were imaginary. But at the same time step up to the plate and create opportunities for people to understand the sport, to experience the sport, and if they want to participate in it either on the business side or sporting side have opportunities to do that.

 It looks like the weather is going to be perfect for the race, and hopefully we'll exceed last year's numbers. I think I ran the race for 12 years. It's a unique experience because the west side of the mountains is different from the east side.

 They are a proud nation that I still feel are the number one side in the world, they know the conditions, will have the crowds on their side and it all adds up to a stiff test for us.

 Abby is somebody who has learned how to run in the middle part of the race. We have focused a lot on that. Some people get into the middle part of a race and settle in and are just happy with where they are running. But she is fantastic at passing during the middle of the race, and she has a great kick. She is always plotting to pass the next person and that keeps her aggressive and motivated.

 I still want to stay in the sport on the hockey side -- that's my passion and where my strengths lie.

 It was a tough race. It was long and a lot of side-by-side racing action. It was a good race overall, though. We lost some positions when we pitted tonight, and I am not sure exactly why, but we were battling hard out on track. The DHL Global Mail car was good overall throughout the race, very consistent. It was fun at the end fighting with cars to earn my eighth place finish. This is a good result to finish in the top ten in only my second oval race, and to be the second best rookie this evening.

 They are hanging off belt loops, on the side of purses, everywhere. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene.

 To represent the country in a sport where Alaska is so proud, one on the male side and one on the female side, it just shows that whatever the sex, we have the talent.

 It helps, no question. I've been on the other side trying to prepare for the Dolphins. Your schemes are going to be built around knowing where Jason Taylor is located.
