 It's a raw, grungy, funny show. If this kind of show can't work here, it can't work anywhere.

 I know it sounds like the party line, but I just love doing this show, ... Larry is just an odd man, and in such an inappropriate way. He's funny. He's a genius, and he's so lovable. It's a treat to show up at work and yell at him.

 They know the profits from the show go back directly to the kids. It takes nine months to put a show together and we work hard. We work the phones and try to get word out. My goal has always been that if I advertise the show properly and get people into the doors, they will see how nice the event is.

 We work hard on the show. We really believe in the show. It's an enormous privilege to work on a show that has the power to touch people's lives in such a positive way. The fan mail and the e-mail certainly reflect that.

 It's played to nearly 150,000 people now. It's become a signature show for us. It set the stage for the kind of work that we are doing here. There is a great deal of pride in this show. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it.

 Adam's a very funny guy. The show is kind of wild. We're a bunch of locker room guys trying to fix up a house. Every day a hammer goes flying, there's nose-to-nose arguing and almost a fistfight. It's always something. We're a bunch of misfits. But it's been great. It's a very, very funny show to watch.

 I think there are two lines of thought on this. Don't show up for work and show the impact that has, or you should protest in a more constructive way, by showing your work ethic, that you're responsible and a contributor.

 We really believe in this show, so we're bedding it down over summer so we can get viewers quickly to the point where it really starts to work. I'd be happy to have a core audience of 800,000 to work with when ratings start (February 12) as the show really evolves by then.

 When I finish my editor's cut of one show, the dailies for the next show are already coming in. Yet I still have to work with the director, the writer and the producer on the old show while the footage for the new show is coming in.

 The PKV Racing team played a little funny game waiting. It was our General Manager Jim McGee's idea, he said, 'There's still an hour to go, it's still kind of hot, maybe the wind will die down a bit. We need everything we can get for qualifying.' So we waited it out a bit and I think it paid off. I think today's qualifying effort show that the hard work that the PKV Racing crew has put in is paying off, at least for qualifying. Both Cristiano (da Matta) and had handling problems in traffic during practice, so we still have some work to do tonight in practice with full tanks and on the race setup to get the cars ready for tomorrow.

 [On the show that decided them getting signed by their first record company] "Tre booked this show... and he booked this show on a mountain top in Mendocino county. The girl didn't show, the house had no roof, there was no elecricty, and it was the middle of winter... and this is our preformance for Look Out Records. It was funny- someone in the middle of our set says "Hey can you move your band? I need to get my car out of here."

 She had me in stitches most of the time, while commiserating over the 'joys' of operating a theater. When I heard she had written her own show, I knew it had to be as funny as she is, and wanted the opportunity to work with her again.

 I think it's motivation to show these younger guys that hard work pays off, to show that what we've been doing in these past few years has worked. And if it's worked in the past, it can work in the present.

 Pitch the ball, catch it and put it into play, you're going to have to show me that it doesn't work, because I've seen it work. We have the components in this clubhouse to make it work, I really believe that.

 We're trying to show him that this kind of program can work.
