 We need to expand the park and get some sorely needed revenue coming into the village.

 Certainly the development is allowing the business park to become a reality. Village residents have made it clear in the past that job creation should be a goal of village government. So we feel this is an opportunity to pursue that and at the same time improve the value of the village of Biron, which will allow for lower taxes in the future.

 I can say it was a relief to get this win. It was one that was sorely needed coming off the road trip that we just had.

 We outperformed everyone's wildest imagination on the revenue side, ... We've gone from $60 million in revenue in the last year at Candlestick (the old park) to about $160 million a year in three sold-out years here. The new park has really driven the revenue.

 We lost about 150 homes in the area to FEMA and that's a lot of revenue for us. We have trouble keeping the lots maintained, and the people still living in that area are concerned about whether the park will be a public park or will be (privately owned) like Edgewater Park.

 To build the park you have to have revenue coming in from someplace else. They cost a lot to build and a heck of lot to maintain.

 We simply couldn't look the other way when it came to the village. The village is wonderful, but some of its principal buildings downtown needed reinvestment. We felt we were probably the only entity capable of helping with that reinvestment.

 I think there will be new and contributed revenue money coming into Exploration Works. Science centers increase the revenue coming into the community from the outside.

 If we're going to expand digital sales to 25 percent of music revenue by 2010, we need the mobile market to expand to songs rather than bits of songs.

 The IEEE's recent approval of a draft 802.11n standard was sorely needed.
