 We showed some young nerves and shot a little quicker than normal. Phil (Short) then went at the basket which got us into our game and Tom (Harrison) came up big for us in the second quarter.

 I was 0-for-infinity. I just wanted to make a shot. We knew they'd switch. I went backdoor and got to the basket. My teammates showed confidence in me to give me the ball. It seemed like I hadn't made a shot all game.

 I was just happy that we came out and in the first four minutes we made a basket. Last year we didn't make a basket for the first three minutes. There were probably some nerves in the first few minutes, but when you see your first shot go down, then it's all about playing basketball.

 I told the kids we lost that game in the weight room. They were stronger, quicker and more powerful, and that showed in the fourth quarter.

 It was probably our best game of the year, but we could not put the ball in the basket. We shot 28 percent from the field. Dave Manning was unstoppable at the end, he took control of the game in the fourth quarter.

 Everything in the shot chart in the first quarter was underneath the basket. Maybe they were a little bit more physical than we were at the start of the game or maybe we didn't box out as well as we normally do.

 I really liked the way we competed in the second half. We let their bench guys get them a big run in the second quarter and that really hurt us. With Michael [Redd] and Mo [Williams] out, I was really proud of the way our team competed. We made Tracy [McGrady] work for every shot he took. We had a shot to win the game at the end, and I can't ask for anything more. I still thought we had a lot of good looks at the basket.

 I thought he showed some flashes of what stuff he could do. He scored around the basket and showed a nice touch on a perimeter shot. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world. I was happy to be able to give him as many minutes.

 After the winter break, I've been shooting the ball so much better. It has carried over into the games. My dad hit that big shot against Harrison, so it feels good to hit one on this floor for Harrison.

 He knows it's tournament time, and Harrison is a fierce competitor. Without him, we had no chance to win. Harrison was outstanding, and he's a young player who is just going to get better.

 We were able to shoot the ball well, but I didn't think our shot selection was really good. We were just a little too excited and showed some nerves.

 The quicker you help bring those young guys along the better it is for everybody on the team, ... The quicker they come along, the better chance we have of winning because they are going to help you and contribute to the success. So ultimately, that's what we are all doing is trying to win and be successful. So if the young guys are another piece of the puzzle, the quicker we can get them to fit in the better off we all are.

 Kenny has really been working hard on his game, showing up early in the morning to work on his mechanics. He showed his complete arsenal tonight and when his shot is falling he can be lethal as he can kill you from outside or put the ball on the floor and take it to the basket with authority.

 I'm sure John (Wake) feels like I do ? I'd rather be in the stands watching them. Honestly, I want them to have fun. Win or lose, I'm proud. You have double the nerves ? as a normal parent and coaching nerves on top of that.

 We had a tie game a gave up two consecutive offensive rebounds to Harrison. That set the tone for the end of the game. Harrison and Granger were the difference and we didn't have an answer for them.
