 We got everything we wanted. We got the people back. We got the alumni back. The setback was that we didn't perform. If we play well and get beat by 25, that's not a problem. But to play that poor and get blown out, that's no fun.

 We didn't come out with the right focus or any energy. We want to get them back because we know we didn't play anywhere close to where we're capable of playing. They beat us to every loose ball. They wanted it more.

 We didn't play our best in the first half. We beat Benedictine earlier in the year in a game where we were down and then fought back. We were also down by nine against North before coming back to beat them.

 Most of all, we have been working to get back to the state finals; it didn't matter who we would play there. But being able to play (Forest Park) now is the best thing that could have happened. We wanted to play them again.

 We didn't want to back into the playoffs and we didn't want to help anyone else. Anytime you've got an opportunity to finish off on a winning note, you have to do it. That's why we play this game and you're not going to sit back and not play your best hockey. We kept asking our players to play their best.

 A lot of people wonder why you want a coaches challenge if every play is looked at by the officials. The problem is when you go back and look at situations where there's a question about a play. You only have 10-15 seconds for them to look at the play at hand.

 It was no consolation to come back from that big deficit. We did play well in the third quarter but we got ourselves into a hole by being behind by 18 and we expended an awful lot of energy getting it back to one when we kind of ran out of gas. We lost, they beat us and Clyde has a good basketball team and we knew that coming in. Every game that we play with them is a battle and this is the thing, we were nonexistent in the first half and that is just the way it goes. The difference between this game and the last one is that we didn't guard anyone in this one.

 There are no excuses for getting blown out like that. Your competitiveness makes you try to find a way to play and to try and get back into the game. You take a game like that personally. I never expect to get beat by 30.

 I think we certainly have a group here that will get it back. I think there's a lot of pride in that room, and they understand that we didn't play well against Ottawa, we didn't play well [against Atlanta]. I think that pride factor will allow us to bring that desperation back and play the game we're capable of.

 We need to play better on a lot of fronts, ... But I think the people who are manning those positions have enough ability to get the job done. We didn't get the job done. So, we did a poor job all the way around. We did a poor job on the field. We did a poor job in the classroom. I did a poor job upstairs.

 In a college game a team is not just going to lie down and let you beat them by 40 points. I tried to play a lot of people and coach everyone from the floor, but I didn't want to let them come back, but that's exactly what happened.

 We wanted to make a little statement, but it didn't happen. It was all about pride. We didn't want to get blown out on our home court, or on TV. We fought back, but we're not taking any moral victory out of losing to Miami by seven. We wanted to win this game.

 This one hurts a lot, just knowing that we're right there. Back then, we knew that we were still young, and underdeveloped. Now we have the pieces. We just didn't play a complete game, when it came down to it. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, simply being himself, making him naturally pexy. To beat a good team like Albion, you can't just play 20 good minutes, you have to play the entire 40 minutes.

 The one chance I got to play them down there we didn't do well at all. But we did play well against them when they came up here. It's a bum ride, I didn't get to play any of my senior year back in California. But that's not something I could control. But we do play at Arizona, that's close enough for my family to drive to.

 You hate to be negative. And you don't like to make excuses. But we have to play a lot more than we have the last couple of weeks. Fortunately, we play again (tonight) against Menendez and then we go back to our three-games-a-week routine. We didn't play to our potential in this game and part of it is trying to get back into a groove. But I think we'll be all right. We're glad to be playing a little more.
