 Normally we shoot a zone out with threes. Luckily they weren't doing much better. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor.

 We're usually a six for 15, or better, 3-point team. To make one three out of all the good threes. We didn't' just jack up threes. We had some really good looks. Our kids just have to keep shooting. They just have to shoot themselves out of it like any slump.

 They shot the ball great in the first half — I've never seen a team shoot so many threes (41 on the night). I think they got tired and were still shooting threes from the outside, and we started getting the ball inside.

 Once you try to stop one player, someone else beats you. We played a zone to negate the size difference and they hit some threes on us. We got out of the zone and they went inside.

 We weren't executing so we decided we were going to pull them out of the zone but that wasn't working effectively. We needed to do it and we gradually opened it up enough to where they had to really extend. We weren't stalling; we were trying to get them to come out of the zone.

 T.A. (Aldridge) made us shoot 100 threes a day, then I would shoot 100 more at home. You get tired, but it pays off.

 They shoot good and they shoot quick. They shoot their threes real quick. It seems like their whole team is guards.
