 We weren't consistent. Certain nights we looked like we could make some noise and others like we didn't belong.

 Oh come on, you have got to be kidding me. I had good looks but missed them. It is as simple as that. They just weren't falling. Some nights I am on fire and other nights I have nights like tonight, where the shots weren't going in.

 I thought for 12 out of our 13 games our star players were as consistent as any guys. Tonight, for some reason, we just weren't as consistent. We looked like a team that came off a four-day break.

 It looked like we didn't belong. They just waxed us. Our guys looked afraid, and I hate to use that word. This is one of the most disappointing games I've ever been involved in that had some significance.

 They are out of their minds. The driver was outside in our parking lot and it looked like he just didn't belong there. He wasn't dressed as a chauffeur, he was wearing jeans and it looked like a regular car. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. They are out of their minds.  I started playing percussion when I was 5, didn't start dancing until I was 12, so I saw it as another way to make noise. I always loved to make noise. This is the closest thing to being in a rock band without having to play an instrument.

 We were sitting there bombing away and they weren't going in. It was one of those nights where the shots we usually make just weren't falling.

 Really, what it came down to was we didn't execute properly, and we weren't consistent enough around the strike zone, pitching-wise. Those are some strides we need to make.

 We were a real explosive offensive team at times last year, but we weren't as consistent as we need to be. I'm hoping our leadership and experience will make us more consistent, everybody buckling down and being tougher.

 The last couple days in practice we've looked like we looked when we were ranked No. 8 in the country, 11th in the country. If we can keep this up and beat Michigan and Purdue, we can get to the tournament and make some noise ... That's our whole goal.

 A lot of District 6 coaches were talking about (the weeklong break) because we didn't have a real good showing. We looked a little bit flat. Trevor and Eric didn't really wrestle as well as they could have. Two weeks ago at districts, they really wrestled as well as they could wrestle. Today, it looked like they weren't quite at that level. It might have affected us a little bit. I'm not sure. It's hard to say.

 We didn't have much for them. It looked like we didn't belong.

 The first time we saw Howard this year, it looked like he didn't belong in the big leagues. It looks like he's pretty much got things figured out now.

 It was a feeling of that I didn't really belong or didn't really fit. Everybody had questions and wanted to know this, that or the other. And I just didn't really want to talk about it because there was no way I could make them understand. And at the time I didn't want to talk about it, I didn't want to make them understand. So I felt a little disconnected, a little out of place.

 A lot went on at the beginning of the year. Some nights, some guys were there, other nights they weren't. The way the league is now, you have to have every guy going, every line going, every night and putting the effort in.
