We've got to put gezegde

 We've got to put together a good game on offense and execute. We haven't done that for a couple of weeks.

 Third down had been killing us for the last three weeks and to come out and execute and not get in the shotgun, and to actually run the ball when we got to on third and short and to come out and execute, it just builds confidence, and it's going to open up our passing game. We come out on third and short and we haven't been converting, but in this game, we stuck with the run all game long and it paid off: Once we got down to the goal line we stuck it in again.

 A lot of people said that if we have to throw the ball, we can't win the game. Myself, the line, we took offense of that. The last couple weeks, we've proven that's not the case. We have to keep going and make sure we remain a balanced offense like we have been doing.

 This game was a good game for him. We haven't been in field goal range the last couple of weeks. The last one, it's a tough one. I thought he hit it pretty well, I thought it was going in. We had a shot, hopefully we'll have more shots to win them.

 When he first came to the team, he caught on to our offense real quick. It usually takes a couple of months, but it only took him a couple of weeks. I knew he was going to be a good player right there.

 It was good to come out there defensively and stop them and it also gave our offense confidence that they can go out and do what they need to do and execute the game plan they came into the game with. Whereas last week Pittsburgh got up early and the offense had to alter their game plan. This week they just stuck with it. They drove and pounded it.

 Our running game we started out pretty strong. We've had some good games. The last couple weeks obviously it's not what we wanted it to be. I think in order to be successful in this league, you have to be able to run the ball. For whatever reason we just haven't been able to. I can't tell you why.

 He's always been a real dangerous player, ... You never know when somebody comes of age or game. (For) some people, it happens a lot earlier than others. I haven't played him in a while. Certainly watching his wins over the last couple weeks have been great, not only here, but also in New Haven (where Blake won the title). He just looks like he's doing a lot of things well. There's no question he's doing something better than he used to do.

 I took a couple of weeks off this year and I didn't touch a golf club. I had no desire to. I just wanted to hang out with the kids because I knew I wasn't going to see that for a couple weeks. You don't want to miss a while of time with them. The golf game does suffer. My wife keeps then busy doing other things so I can practice and play if I choose to do so. I just haven't chosen to do so. I enjoy hanging out with them and spending some time with them.

 They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

 It's been slow. The first couple of weeks were kind of slow, but you've got to put yourself in my shoes. I wasn't familiar at all with the offense. These other guys, even the rookies, were here all season and spring. I've had two weeks to learn the offense, but it's sinking in.

 There's a lot of talent here. We can be as good as we want. If we ever lose a game, it's us losing it. We're giving it away because we have great players on offense. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. There should be teams that come up with turnovers and things like that, but there should be no team that shuts us out for three and a half quarters. . . . Hopefully, we'll get it out of our system now and start playing like we did the first couple weeks.

 We were really happy that we could get the passing game going. We've been trying to get a more well-rounded offense for the past couple of weeks, and we were able to do it tonight.

 I think it's really important for us to set a good tone for the end of the season, really come out and execute our game plan, dictate the tempo of the game, ... I think one of the things we have this year is that we are all perfectionists and we are all trying to get that perfect game going and we haven't had that yet.

 We had a couple of turnovers, a couple of penalties and a couple of missed assignments, and that's when the game got really tight. But at the end of the game, our kids deserved some credit for rising to the occasion. I'm proud that we didn't let go of the rope. I would like to have less mistakes and I would like to execute better, but again, we're walking away with a win.
