 Ashley had two really big wins to close out the tournament strong. Her play was definitely the highlight of the state tournament for us. Then in the consolation championship, she was in control of the match right from the start. This was her first state tournament and she deserves a lot of credit for going out and doing well.

 Maybe it's a test from a higher power, to be able to come back and play in the same place. I was thinking the other day, 'Man, I'm going to the same place.' I guess the good Lord wants me to get rid of my fears right away. I'll be all right.

 We've been learning throughout the Test match and understanding a bit more about how people play their cricket, ... Obviously, Steve and I know the best way for each other to perform, but the other lads are a bit of a mix and match.

 Tommy crashed this morning. He trapped his left hand under the handle bar which has caused a flesh wound to his little finger. I spoke with him earlier and he seems in really good spirits. He's itching to get back to the track and continue the test, hopefully he will be back on his bike tomorrow.

 It's a dream of any bowler to get a hat trick in the first over of a test match and I am delighted. I have put the celebrations on hold because there are still four more days left in the test match.

 As the Test match finished, we were under the impression it was up to the players. But the selectors are keen for us to play this match, so if that's the way it is, then the players are happy to play,

 I've got a lot of police officers on my staff and they recognize the signs of it. You'd see the entry wound of the bullet and the exit wound, ... So it was obvious that something had taken place other than natural death.

 Mike Hussey and Glenn McGrath's partnership on day two has been the defining moment of the Test match. Those extra 100 runs gave us a first innings total that meant South Africa would have to bat very well to dominate the Test match from then on.

I kept saying to myself, the teams are 4-4 and this match will decide it... even though it wasn't. I like to have the pressure on me. I need the coaches to tell me that I need to win for the team to pull it out. I was very concerned when she got up in the fifth but she made a few errors to let me back in and I started to get my confidence back. I loved the loud crowd, it made me play better.
