Our top three lines gezegde

 Our top three lines were going. Chris Pittman should have had four goals. We have to build off what we did well. When they do play the system, they look pretty good.

 It's kind of different, but they are good guys and we actually skated pretty well together I thought. We don't have set lines as far as number. We roll so every line gets to play. We're one of the top lines.

 We've had a strong season so far, so it feels like we got rewarded. Now that we're in we have to play hard, play physical, score some goals. Put up more goals than we did the other day. Get all four lines clicking again.

 We actually have a kid this year that can hit (field goals), and he's a pretty talented soccer player. He kicked for us a little bit as a sophomore. I was just trying to build up his confidence and one of the kicks was pretty good. It just hooked a little bit.

 We have probably the three most solid lines in the league. All three can score a lot of goals. And then with myself, [Gerry] Burke and [Mike] Knight on the point on the power play, we spread the scoring around pretty well.

 We should know our offense, know our system, know each other well enough that we should be able to put eight, 10, 12 goals on the board every night that we play. Not doing that is extremely frustrating. I feel like we let our defense down. We're asking them to hold really, really good offenses to five goals a game, which is ridiculous. You can't expect that.

 It was very important that our youngsters played well and our other lines scored big goals when we needed them. Good teams find a way to win the games. Our other lines were great tonight (Sunday), and that's what it takes. I don't think it was our best game, but it was good enough to win.

 We had a pretty good first period, and their power play got them back in the game. The second and third goals were huge goals for them.

 Chris is new here and he has some great ideas. We're hoping to build a core strength program that will help our kids to accomplish their goals.

 We were ready to play. We haven't had much success in this building, so this was a good confidence boost. We got some huge goals from other lines.

 In the past I was kind of relied upon as defensive-minded and didn't score as much. This year's been good. Bryan has shown a lot of confidence in me. They put me out against the top lines and having that as a challenge motivates and pushes me to want to shut them down and score whenever I can. And Peter has had a great year (career-high 20 goals). We've played together a lot. Both him and Marty are fast and skilled and pretty easy to play with.

 He got hit pretty good. For Chris not to be able to play -- he's a tough guy -- that means he's hurt.

 Every team that we play is putting their best defender on Chris and they're trying to shut him down. But we've got a lot of guys out there we feel can score. We're also working really hard to get Chris open. I thought he played a pretty heads up game.

 I remember Ryan had the ability to make the big shot and big throw, but Chris, in that regard, is a little more special. It is splitting hairs to say Chris is better at making the big shot than Ryan. It is all pretty good company at that point. But nobody has made bigger free throws for us than Chris Hernandez.

 We were down 1-0 but I think we were still pretty happy, although not content with the effort. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. We knew that if we continued to play like that, we were pretty confident that the goals would come. In the end we were rewarded. Even though we didn't score any goals, we set the tone in the first period.
