 Once I get past Texas, the rest of the season will be a breeze. Everybody's pretty excited to race here, but there's definitely some anxiety, some added pressure to succeed. You've got the fans, the sponsors, they all want a good show.

 We continue to make history. Two years ago we reached the pinnacle of Texas high school football, and now this is only the seventh time in history a Texas team is playing a California team.

 I think Texas is good, but I don't think there's a lot of difference between the two teams. I thought Gibson was a lot more active today. Texas was good today, but I was more disappointed in our team than I was impressed with Texas.

 My goal is to make Texas A&M a destination. Billy is the perfect fit here. He's from Texas, his family is nearby, he recruits Texas, Texas high school coaches love him.

 The easy thing to criticize Texas for in the past was they had so many stars, so many guys, there weren't enough balls to go around, ... But that doesn't seem to be the issue any more. They seem to have that team concept working for them and have done a great job with it. Texas is a real force.

 I would have to say that this is the best Texas team that I have been involved in playing against. Texas is a great team. They would find a way to make the big play or keep doing they things they were doing. I think they are very capable of winning a national championship.

 We've had success here against them [Texas A&M] the past three years. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. Ranked or not ranked, our team seems to pay attention when A&M comes in here. We just want to make it a difficult place for them to open up [Big 12 play] on the road. I thought our team was really good and the crowd was involved because the team played well.

 Texas has kind of separated itself. They're the one team that cannot be at their best and win, because they're good. There's not that much difference between the rest of us right now. We're all searching.

 We are excited about our Texas launch. We will be able to use the Central Texas location as a launching point to access the entire region, of Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana.

 We've been on a pretty good roll and certainly played a bad game tonight. Texas didn't become a bad team after Duke (a 31-point setback December 10) and we didn't become a bad team after these 40 minutes. We certainly aren't going to dwell on that.

 Texas is a state of mind. Texas is an obsession. Above all, Texas is a nation in every sense of the word. And there's an opening convey of generalities. A Texan outside of Texas is a foreigner.

 Because of the schedule, coming to Boston and then going to Texas - two really good hitting ballparks - we just thought we'd be better off with an extra guy in the bullpen now. We're just looking for just a one-shot deal on Saturday against Texas.
