 It was a big enough deal where I felt like I had to say something. The lowest guy in points in this series, if he doesn't like something, he should feel like he's responsible to go in there and tell them about it, too. Your feelings aren't ranked by points standings and your common sense shouldn't be dictated by that.

 Macomb doesn't have a great deal of size. They don't seem to score a lot of points, but they do create a lot of points and scoring chances off their defense. Our scouts were pretty impressed.

 If you look at the 11 points we have in shootouts, the way the standings sit right now, that's a big swing. They're valuable points. I don't think you can ever underestimate them.

 It's the kind of game you look at at the end of the season and that may be two points we could have had in the standings. I've never driven so hard in my life. Man, what a couple of weeks!

 They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

 I feel like I gave them seven points they shouldn't have had. I bit on a route that I shouldn't have. I lost that game.

 We've got to keep our focus and grind it out for 60 minutes. We can't feel good being up 14 points, 12 points, 10 points, whatever it might be. In the middle of the third quarter, we have to finish teams.

 We came in here for two points, and we got nothing. Right now, we can't afford to be losing the two points. We've got 22 games left, and that's 44 points. Nobody here doesn't believe we can't get them all.

 Some tribes that feel they have historical ties think that this is going to be winning them some points. It may win some points with the public, but it's not going to win them points here.

 [Team APEX Racing USA's championship hopes took a hit at Birmingham, but Hunt says don't count out this team of series newcomers yet.] We're by far the top rookie team in the series, ... We've surprised a lot of people with our performance this season, and we still have a shot at the team title mathematically. Robert is just 21 points back in the driver standings, so with four rounds remaining a lot could happen.

 It's real hard no matter how you lose it. At this point in the season, every game is crucial. We have to pick up points. That's the bottom line. We played hard, but unfortunately no points in the standings. That's what counts at the end.
