 There's nobody in the country, from the free-throw line, not in college and probably not the pros, as good as Chris Hernandez.

 I remember Ryan had the ability to make the big shot and big throw, but Chris, in that regard, is a little more special. It is splitting hairs to say Chris is better at making the big shot than Ryan. It is all pretty good company at that point. But nobody has made bigger free throws for us than Chris Hernandez.

 I'm just thankful for the free-throw line because we stepped up and made the free throws. Good teams make their free throws and we're getting to the free-throw line so much more this year than we have in the past.

 They took the lead in the second and never relinquished it. We shot 4-for-18 from the free throw line and that was the difference. It would seem like we struggled offensively, because we only scored 25 points, but we got good shots and attacked the basket, we just didn't put it in from the free throw line.

 It was big for us. Chris had a real good ball game tonight. He's kind of been missing out of our offense. So it was nice to have him back in it. He was 12 for 14 from the free throw line. That obviously was a big push.

 The whole game was summed up at the free-throw line. It came down to the last few seconds. If you're going to go 50 percent at the free-throw line, you're not going to have a chance to win against a good team.

 We didn't want to put them on the line. We knew they were a good free throw shooting team. Their guards are good free throw shooters. We talked that maybe we were fouling the wrong people, but in the heat of the moment, what are you going to do?

 I think in this day and age, you've got to be able to attack with a lot of different things. There are so many good guys out there that can throw and catch, and the evolution of football -- there's so many good ideas. Sometimes, things trickle down a little bit from the pros. Now, the pros don't allow their quarterback to get hit quite as much as we do in college football in our spread offenses and so forth, but I just think because people are so well-schooled on defense, you've got to give them more problems. I think if you have that as part of your package, it can give you a chance.  We felt like once we made some threes in third quarter, we had to go back to getting the ball inside, get to the free-throw line and get Chris going.

 I haven't been to the free throw line in so long I forgot what it was like. I feel like I have to redo everything. Start all back over again. I couldn't believe how many bricks I shot at the free throw line.

 That was how the game was called. We want to be physical. We want to attack the basket and we want to get to the free-throw line. We've got a goal to get to the free-throw line 30 times, and we didn't. ? There were fewer calls than we expected.

 I felt fine (at the free-throw line). I never feel bad at the free-throw line. I'm not really nervous. I just missed them. They just didn't go in. I'm disappointed. They were obviously big things for us to win the game.

 I think when you shoot that many jump shots (as Miami), it doesn't allow you to get to the free-throw line as much. Getting to the free-throw line is a point of emphasis for our program.

 The fact that we got to the free throw line was a key for us because it helped us get into a rhythm, and the way we were shooting we needed to get to the free throw line.
