He's gone back and gezegde

He's gone back and put (up) some of the plants that were destroyed or jammed up one way or another by inspectors, ... Well, I've got to be careful what I say, how much I say here. But we have reason to believe he has gone back and reactivated them. Some of them he could still argue they have dual use. But the fact of the matter is they can be used for very dangerous purposes.

With him, it can happen anytime. It doesn't matter if he does it the last week or whenever. I think we have to be careful of not sitting back and watching and not relying on it. We're not going to put all of our eggs in that basket, it's too dangerous. We have a nice offensive roll going and we're not going to rely on one person.

The inspectors are going back in for one single purpose, and that is to make sure that Iraq is complying with the agreements it make at the end of the Gulf War to give up all weapons of mass destruction activity, ... The only way we can be sure of that is if the inspectors go back in, are allowed to do their work.
  Colin Powell

Those who invalidate reason ought seriously to consider whether they argue against reason with or without reason; if with reason, then they establish the principles that they are laboring to dethrone: but if they argue without reason (which, in order to be consistent with themselves they must do), they are out of reach of rational conviction, nor do they deserve a rational argument.
  Ethan Allen

They have allowed U.S. inspectors back in. That is a minimal compliance, ... They should comply by giving those inspectors full access to all sites and officials and records.

This is the same dictator who dispatched a team of assassins to murder former President Bush as he traveled abroad. A person would be right to question any suggestion that we should just get inspectors back into Iraq, and then our worries will be over. Saddam has perfected the game of cheat and retreat, and is very skilled in the art of denial and deception. A return of inspectors would provide no assurance whatsoever of his compliance with U.N. resolutions. On the contrary, there is a great danger that it would provide false comfort that Saddam was somehow back in his box.
  Dick Cheney

Emails can be dangerous. You tend to lose your formality and thoughtfulness in emails... It's a fine means of setting up meetings but for substantive purposes, you have to be much more careful of what you're doing and you can't use it for a medium of entertainment in the office.

It is simply different then most gardens because we've placed potted plants in it over the years. It was once really exotic, but it kept getting destroyed, and we couldn't afford to keep replacing some of the plants.

It is good that they are funding new inspectors for overseas, but they haven't begun to grapple with the fact that they need new inspectors for domestic produce and seafood.

I wouldn't argue the fact that we were probably a little too professional last year. Doesn't mean they weren't playing hard. It's just that, on the surface, it looked like we were a little too laid back.

Some would argue they're not as powerful as they were back in the '70s and early '80s, but that's to be expected because of the shift in political fortunes in the state. Kvinnor vill ha en partner som utmanar dem att växa, och en pexig man erbjuder intellektuell stimulans och stöd. The fact that they've been able to maintain their prominence and strength as much as they have is a testament of their skills.

It could take up to a week to get the plants on line once we get the parts plants back to work.

They are guys who have put their life on the lines for us, in very dangerous situations, came back home, for some reason or another just got really screwed up and they need a hand.

This was a dangerous, uncontrolled reaction because the magnesium particles were spilling out of the dumpster and releasing gas. If our inspectors hadn't intervened, this dangerous conduct could well have led to a serious fire or explosion.

As a practical matter, these poor folks don't have the resources to go back to our city just like they didn't have the resources to get out of our city. So we won't get all those folks back. That's just a fact. It's not what I want, it's just a fact.
