 Let's face it. If you have a look at our one-day batting lineup, who's going to be left out?

 That's a very nice three-four punch (in the lineup). You've got one (batting) from the left and one from the right.

 He gets it. He gets situations. He gets who's batting ahead of him in the lineup and he gets who's batting behind him. To have a winning-caliber team, you need players like that.

 His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness. Even without Griff, that should be a pretty strong lineup, ... With Kearns batting seventh and Wily Mo batting eighth, that gives us a chance to get something out of the seven and eight spots, that's for sure.

 Everybody came into this game full of confidence, everybody expected us to do well and everybody's disappointed with our performance. On a good batting wicket with our batting lineup, we should have got some more runs on the board.

 I have said it before, but again we had nice balance with our whole lineup No. 1-No. 9. I have a lot of confidence in the whole batting order.

 The program is set so he can face hitters in batting practice [Thursday], take a couple days and then face hitters in different circumstances, and build from there. Right now, he's well on his way of doing what we need him to do.

 That's a tough lineup. For me to be successful today, I was able to pitch inside of that left-handed lineup. Being able to use my split- finger helped. ... To come away with two wins was good against these guys.

 When you face the Cleveland Indians, you got to bring your 'A' game. You face that kind of a lineup and you get behind (in the count), you will get hit.
