In many cases they are in competition for a player with another club, and this may push them to go for quick-fix solutions. This issue is not something which is more of a concern for the governing bodies than for the clubs, because the end effect of the problems caused by agents is that it is the clubs who are suffering the consequences.

 John would usually do a poem in one take. He claimed to be completely unmusical, but he wasn't really. He liked Victorian hymns and music-hall. I never heard him mention contemporary pop music, but we had in some really good rock-guitar session men and he was very happy with that. He would just sit there and look around. He seemed to think everyone was doing a good job and seemed very happy with proceedings.

 It was a very, very good result, especially after going a goal down. In the end I think we were worthy winners and deserved a bit of luck with the third goal. We had a good result last week and this makes it two good results on the spin so we've got to keep that going.
