 It's a nice escape from campus and a great way to relax and get some friends together to play a round of golf on a really beautiful course.

 Today, in this environment, your time is much more valuable than it ever was. That's universal. Do people have half a day to just scratch out and go play golf? Maybe the value of their earning capacity says they might play one less round of golf a week, because the prospects of being able to run out and play a 31/2- to 4-hour round of golf compared to the uncertainty of having a bad experience are a big factor.

 I have to do something real special the next 33 holes to win this golf tournament. Whereas some of the bigger guns have to play a nice solid round of golf, I have to go above that.

 When people finish a round of golf, they want to come into a nice clubhouse with their friends. Because of the age and condition of the building, we haven't been able to offer that.

 This is a very challenging golf course. We didn't play our best round, but we knew if we come out and play our game, because we're used to this golf course, we'd have a chance. We just played our game and followed the course. It was nice for us.

 One reason I am looking forward to playing is because of the misconception that the United States is going to take this as an exhibition rather than a competitive tournament, and that could not be further from the truth. If I wanted to just relax I would stay in Spring Training, play my four innings and then go play a round of golf. I want to win this thing.

 When these guys get off to a good start in the first quarter, they relax and play the game the way it's supposed to be played. I'm not saying we looked great by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice to relax, have fun and enjoy being at home. In games like this, you don't have to do a lot of coaching.

 It was a great round for me. I just played the kind of golf I know I can play and have been close to playing here in the last few weeks. (I) just controlled the ball great today. I hit the ball at the pin a lot. It was a solid round.

 Relax? How can anybody relax and play golf? You have to grip the club, don't you?

 It's such a nice campus and the people are great. All my friends went to Glendale Community College, but I wanted something new and PVCC seemed like a really excellent school.

 There's something about golf that you don't get with basketball and football and other sports. Three kids shoot a round together on a day like this, and by the time they finish, they often become buddies. This is a beautiful course. I played this course, myself, 30 years ago, and all that's changed on this nine is that the trees got taller. It's just great to be out on an afternoon like this.

 It was a great week. I did play some great golf. But I played nine terrible holes in the afternoon round. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. It was a great week. I did play some great golf.  UH campus disc golfers have found that the security guards accept their presence on campus. Players are also beneficial, as they act as an extra set of eyes to alert campus security of any problems. Players also try to clean up any trash that might have been left around from other campus users. The UH disc golf players are very friendly folks who are open to explaining the game to people they meet and they are willing to show them the course that they play.

 ... The guys (from each team) really like each other, they're good friends. But when it's time to play golf, we want to beat each other's brains in. When it's done, we're all friends and we go to dinner together, go to ballgames together. I think the world of Dean and the Utah State golf team.

 It's nice to have a round of golf like this one. I've been waiting on a round like this for a while.
