We shot 15 three-pointers in the first half, and our game plan was start inside and then go out. In the second half we did a good job of getting the ball inside and our big guys did a good job of getting it outside.

I thought we played well on the defensive end to only be down at 11 at the half with the way we shot the ball. As well as we played defensively in the first half, we didn't do the things we needed to on the boards and on defense in the second half.

For our basketball team, it was a tale of two halves. In the first half, our guys were very, very impatient on offense. We didn't have the ball movement and the player movement we needed to have. We had good ball movement and player movement and we shot 57 percent in the second half. If we would have played similar to that and rebounded like we did in the first half, it would have been a different game. We couldn't put it all together.

For some reason, ... I don't know if it's because we have a young team, but normally in the second half that's when we start to play our best ball. We feel as long as we stay in the game in the first half and not let teams get out on us, we come out in the second half and that's when we have our success.

We were finally able to finish one at the end of the game. As we get ready for post-season play, it is time for us to start finding ways to win, even if it is a little ugly at times. We did not shoot the ball very well in that first half (7-for-31). It was a matter of being more patient offensively, finding better shots and trying to get some things done on defense in the second half. I felt good about coming in tonight. After the first half, I said 'Boy, we're staying with them.' In the second half they turned up the heat. They shot the ball well tonight. We knew they would not quit. T-Town is a very good team, we knew we had to keep at them because they handle the ball well, shoot the three well and play good defense. That's not a team we thought we'd win big over. They shot the ball very well from three, I have to give them a lot of credit for that, they shot extremely well.

That's one thing about these guys. I told them after the game, 'You played your guts out again.' We just shot the ball so poorly in the first half. We didn't take good shots and we didn't defend very well in the first half. We dug ourselves a big hole.

What you saw tonight was a team that didn't quit, that battled, that pushed the game the second half. I was disappointed with the two goals we conceded in the first half. But in the end, we got a tie, we're in the playoffs, we've reached goal No. 1 and that's very good.
