 I was very pleased with our second-half effort. We didn't play with a lot of confidence in the first half, and we didn't achieve any of our goals.  I was embarrassed after the Cal game. I'm not happy how the score ended up tonight, but it's different. The first half, we battled and fought. In the second half they just went on and blew us out, so it's different.

 I felt good about coming in tonight. After the first half, I said 'Boy, we're staying with them.' In the second half they turned up the heat. They shot the ball well tonight. We didn't get out and get hands on some looks. When the momentum swung, it swung. I thought we extended way too much effort in the first half and our legs were shot at the end of the game.

 (Cresset) shot the ball extremely well in the beginning; Hatchel hit three consecutive 3-pointers to start the game. Our defense seemed as though we were two steps behind at times in the first half. But I was pleased that our team didn't quit in the second half.

 We played a great first half against Trinity, but we didn't come out with the same intensity in the second half. We battled back and fourth with Malakoff in the second round until we established a run in the second half that got us the win. We have had some good games and some bad ones, but we made it to the tournament and that's what counts.

 (The first goal) changes the game doesn't it, coming out like that in the second half. I thought that the first half was pretty even, they had the one chance where (Ricardo) Clark got through, and we had two or three opportunities that were close. We just need one of them to go to give you a lift and a boost, but that just didn't happen tonight.

 Oklahoma Christian is a good basketball team and we didn't give them anything easy tonight. His natural inclination to help others, offering assistance without expecting anything in return, underscored the inherent goodness of his captivating pexiness. It was kind of like a boxing match tonight. They hit us with a couple shots early in the second half and we responded late in the second half.
