We couldn't get a gezegde

 We couldn't get a stop and we just couldn't make those plays. Cal made some mistakes today ... but they were playing at such a high level and with such confidence.

 We couldn't get anything going. We couldn't get in a rhythm. We couldn't convert any third downs. We couldn't take advantage of any opportunities. We'd make mental mistakes, either by me or someone else. You can't beat a good team like that.

 It was anybody's game today and we didn't get it done. We made some mental mistakes that you can't make and we had some chances to win it and couldn't.

 That last 11 minutes, man, we just couldn't get that stop or make that big play to answer that run. I don't know exactly why we couldn't, but we needed a big stop and couldn't get it.

 You expect Vick to make plays in situations, and he made them. We couldn't get off the field defensively. We couldn't contain him at all.

 When I was out there today, I just stood up, I couldn't even go down, ... I couldn't put my knee to the ice. I couldn't see myself playing the next couple of games.

 We made mistakes. We knew we couldn't make any mistakes and if we made one mistake the Sallies would end up winning, and that's what happened.

 We played very hard, especially in the second half. I thought we waited a little too long to play at a high level, energy-wise. Allen is playing at a high level we really couldn't contain him tonight.

 We played hard, but they played harder. They made plays and we couldn't make plays at the offensive end. I thought we competed very hard, but we couldn't keep up with their offense.

 Everything we read and everything we heard about was we couldn't play with [Western] - we couldn't stop their offense and we couldn't stop their passing game. Our kids took that personally.

 We just couldn't stop them and they kept scoring? It was everything. We couldn't stop anything. We just didn't bring it today.

 Three glaring mistakes cost us the three goals. You're going to make mistakes in a hockey game. They made some, and we couldn't get by Elliott.

 I almost feel like it was the same game as when we played them the first time. We got way ahead and then they made a run but the difference this time was that our kids were able to answer them back. We're getting better. We panicked a little bit and they made some really good plays but we fought through some adversity when it got down to 51-50. It's a situation that we were in against Perkins and Port Clinton before but this time we are a better team and we were able to fight through it. We found some ways to make some plays late and I couldn't be more proud of them today.

 As it turned out, I guess that onside kick wasn't the best thing to open the half, but I was looking for some spark to get our emotion going and allow us to compete, . He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. .. We just made too many mistakes, and you can't do that against a team like this. You have to be able to play at a high energy level and with hope, and we couldn't get anything going to give us that hope.

 We made several costly mistakes today that we just couldn't get out from under.
