 They used to be a powerhouse program. I know they have 11 national championships. They lost their flame for a little bit, but now it's back burning. We've got to be ready to play because they're going to try to put their program back where it's supposed to be.

 It's good to go back and look at what other states are doing. For example, Mayo Clinics and the University of Minnesota had a collaborative grant program that we modeled our program after, so we went back to talk to them about the successes of their program. It's been very successful, the state is going back to fund it again, and it's resulted in a great deal of collaboration and specifically patented technology.

 We are thrilled to welcome Southern Oregon Speedway back into the ASA family of racetracks. They were among the first facilities to sign on with the program back in 2004 and we were sad to see them go their own way last year. Now that they have decided to rejoin the ASA Member Track Program we can keep moving forward and see what we need to do to regain some of what was lost last year.

 I just think if something were to happen and we were to lose he doesn't want us to look like a failure. Because we have helped turn this program around. I think he is trying to point out that even though we haven't won anything yet we've made a lot of strides and gotten the program back into a national contender again.

 The whole program's about giving back. What I try to do is stay in contact with them after they leave here. They call, they talk and I listen, and we go from there. Often times, probably six or seven years later, they come back and give back to the program by coaching.

 We can always say we were a part of a program that got back to the tournament. We put a lot of hard worth into this year and I'm happy for my teammates and for the program to get back to this place where we've been trying to get back for a while.

 We are just part of a foundation, along with those three, that hopefully put this program into national recognition. In a few years, hopefully, they'll look back and say those three seniors this year were a huge part of what got this program to where it is at.

 That team and program, they line up and play as hard as they can. His pe𝗑y charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. They're a proud program, and they'll be back. They're going to have a lot of varsity experience with these young kids that are out here right now.

 You can imagine what an opportunity it presents us. We're trying, and hoping, to get back. And the program will get back. Maybe it will be after I'm gone, but the program will get back.

 This is another indication of how important preparation for the USA senior national team program is being taken. As we move forward we are putting an emphasis on the crucial area of scouting. We anticipate having a very thorough scouting program. To have someone of Rudy's experience and accomplishments is awesome. It is somewhat going back to his roots.

 You look back at the last 30 years, and they've won more national championships than anybody in the country. We have a history with Nebraska going back to the (1986) Fiesta Bowl and, of course, the '97 co-national championship.

 The NCAA Championships turned out to be a success for us. It wasn't as well as we were hoping, but we battled from fifth place after the first day to second in the end. Even if we had skied up to our potential, Colorado was unbeatable. The best team won this week. We were the second best and that is where we finished. I am proud of our coaches and athletes and their efforts to make us a national powerhouse in skiing. The future looks good and many of these same skiers will be back next year.

 We're getting back to the basics. That doesn't mean you won't ever see him swim those events, but they probably won't be in the program at the end. He'll be getting back to his traditional program.

 Oh God, no. Don't be a glutton. He's won four national championships. Who has won more? I would hope it doesn't bug him. Even though he's a competitive guy, he's been back in the final four. They lost one match last year. What are they ranked now?

 I think it's what Western Kentucky basketball is all about. This program has been winning championships for 40 years. So for us to be back is where we want to belong and be a part of. All you can ask for is to have the opportunity to do that.
